I think google is for no doubt the best search engine all over the internet. It returns best results and even if you use that "I feel lucky" button you'll find what you're looking for... Also it's really fast! I love google. That's it!

Google is by far the best search engine, it has the most accurate results, and as far as I know has the shortest search time. I also think that its non search features, eg Gmail and Google Maps are the best out of all the search companies.

I totally agree. It's what 95% of the world's default search engine, even Mozilla Firefox has it as it's default when you begin to use it. It's really good and the results are by far the best, Yahoo is also another good search engine.

Google is most definitely the best search engine out there. I love its fast search time and accurate results. The other feature non search related are also a cool addition.

I am in the same boat. I just absolutely love google and have for many many years ago. The first time I started using google was when it was still the main engine for Yahoo, that must have been like 10 years ago. I love how fast google searches and the reliability of results. 10 out of 10!

Yeah, Google is great! It's the only search engine I use anymore! I usually find what I'm looking for on Google (seeing as they've indexed MANY pages). Plus, Google has many other things that make it good. Normally, when I can't find anything on Google, I never do find it (however, I have found a few things I was looking for in Yahoo that Google didn't find, but that's not very much).

As long as Google doesn't let its position as market leader lead it to complacency and the production of inferior, buggy, competition-choking products like Microsoft.

You will find alot o people out there who just don;t like Google, for some stupid reason. The day Google trun into another microsoft, will be the day i find my grave. Otherwords, lets hope it don't happen. As for Ask Jeeves, it is a very very basic form of Google i believe, and is heading the same way as yahoo, a page with one little serch box, and thousands of ads everywhere. Google is a slick clean design page.

A few years ago when I had just started learning the ways of the web, Google was the first search engine that I came across and to this day it remains my personal favourite. I have used different search engines like ask, altavista among others but still prefer using Google for any search querry that comes to my mind till date.

Yeah GOOGLE is by far the best search engine on the planet. You can really find anything you want, sometimes you can even find more than you want or find even something delicate that you shouldn't find because people are not aware of the way google scans the internet and leaves certain stuff open to othe people. For example if one uses the search option "index of" and than writes something it will return all unprotected folders on the net...this is very nice if you need to find certain sounds, pictures or similar..Just be sure not to break any law or something... Yahoo! is powered by google as it's stated on their website so that is acctualy the same thing and i don't see any reason why not using google because it is better and fester without all that commercials and other crap that appears on yahoo's site! use GOOGLE - IT IS THE BEST!

i think it's great, some people who don't like it or think google tracks which sites you go to (they do but they don't release information) are just paranoid. Everytime i search, i get what i look for, for example earlier today i was looking for a site with a tut on how to do something and it had EXACTLY what i wanted on the first page, you just have to know how to search and you always get what your looking for.

google is the worl'd best known search engine, that's for sure. people have got it into their heads that they use google.com to search the net. the other top 2 search engines Yahoo! and MSN are used to search the web by the users of their free email services @yahoo.com and @hotmail.com and microsoft have even added msn into the internet explorer to give it more searchers. Google doesn;t need to have other services available for people to use it though they are starting to go that way - gmail, etc.
