| | For a few weeks on Yahoo Mail you can see that they are about to upgrade to a 1GB mailbox (probably because more people are choosing Gmail). In response GMail upgraded their own mailbox to 2GB and there is one more surprise ... they are incresing non-stop their mailbox. On www.gmail.com you can see a counter that slowly increses. I wonder when will it stop ... it's around 2080 MB. By the way if there is anyone who wants an GMail invitation PM... |

Its increasing really, really slow when i say slow i mean slow, its increasing by 0.0000001 about 0.0000010 per 1sec. Thats slow i had Yahoo before I switched to GMail, I'm Happy that i wasnt with Hotmail because when with Yahoo it Enables you to Forward messages to Gmail but Hatmail Cant. I dont think this makes any sence but anyway. From .::DAMAN::.

I don't know if you have seen their site on april 1st, there was a picture underneath the counter and it was really funny. Its increasing at around 1mb per day which means we'll get another GB in 3 years! I think they plan to keep it going for as long as possible too as they have this "motto" now of Gmail meaning "Growing mail" well, I can't complain. Go Gmail!!

I used to be with hotmail and they told me that they would be increasing the size of my mail box to a gig. I waited for about two months and nothing changed. I ditched hotmail and signed up with gmail. Was probably one of the best internet-related decisions i ever made. The fact that it's increasing its space non stop is sort of funny, cuz they're pretty crappin on the little guy, like hotmail or yahoo. What confused me was one day i had 5 invites, now i have 50. Do I REALLY have 50 invites or does it just say that? Help please.

No, for me its says 50 but when I send a invite it turns 49 for about a minute then becomes 50 again.

When I first use gmail, I look at the invite box and I only have 4 invites... And the next day when I open my gmail account and look at the box and see it turned back to 50... Is that supposed to happen or what?

[ Cp ] What If Gmail Had Been Designed By Microsoft?
(4) QUOTE Today I want to ponder the question: what if Microsoft, not Google, had created Gmail?
What would be the differences in that web mail client for users today? What if we apply some of the
same design rules that brought us Hotmail, for instance? To start, here’s the current Gmail
homepage after you log-in: First of all, we need to rebrand the application name to something
longer. Let’s call this Windows Live Gmail, and add some of the visual elements connected with
Windows. Also, as in Hotmail, there needs to be less space for the email subjects ....

you want, no matter when it was sent or received. Don't throw anything away. Over 2541.694975

Trillian Pro to use Gmail talk soon, but first, lets take a look at the features! Feature 1:
Snazzy Interface - This interface is way better than Yahoo and MSN, and it doesn't have any ads

A Couple Of Interesting Tools
from a site that used to giveaway gmail invites! (5) isnoop.net used to have a page for giving away free gmail invites. I thought it was a pretty neat

sure if this is the right place to post... but I'm hoping some people might find a couple of

Gmail Shell Extension
Create a GMail Drive On Your PC! (12) This software allows you to drag and drop files into your GMail account and treat it just as any
other physical drive on your computer. A file system is created on your GMail account which allows
Windows Explorer to recognise it as a drive and pick up files. A new drive icon appears in My
Computer showing every file on your account. With the ever increasing space provided by GMail (over
2.5GB now!) no-one will ever be able to fill it all with emails. This software provides a free
way to expand your computer's storage capacity. When files are put onto the GMail....
