Gmail is for Windows and ot creates a virtual filesystem around a Gmail account.
It creates an extra drive in your "My Computer window", so when you double click it, after you input your account details of your gmail account, it will open your account where you can paste the files from the other directorys of your drive c .
Well, try it, it's very, very easy and very, very usefull for the gmail lovers.

What, so you mean it makes it easier to use Gmail as a hard drive, or what do you mean? It sounds pretty cool, but I don't quite understand what you mean.

It build a drive in your windows explorer (near to the drive c), and you just have to double click the drive to enter the gmail account details and then you can copy a file from your documents to that drive. Remember that you must be connected to the internet to open the drive and put all the files you want there (2 Gb's). Do you understand now?

If they were really hurting I don't think they'd have the guts to increase everyone's inbox everyday. Second, how exactly is Gmail a web hosting account? The only person who can access your files on Gmail is you (I may be wrong on this). With a web hosting account, like trap17, anyone can access your files given that they have the correct URL. Third, I don't think it's "cheating/hurting Google", but it's using your resources, or in this case, Gmail, to your advantage.

It's been around form quite some time already. The only catch is that you can store files up to only 10 mb...which really....dunno what to say... But anyway...it's better than nothing.... -Shackman
