there could be several problems. It could be a filter issue, perhaps the network admin filtered forums/trap17. It could also be that someone messed with the "hosts" file (though unlikely). To check, you should ping trap17 with the command prompt and report what IP addres it gives for the site.

If he cannot get result from ping command, it is because ISP is either blocking or clearing cache. If he can ping but cannot access Trap17 forum, his IP is blocked by Trap17 firewall--not through the forum block. The possible reasons for IP block are stated above (attempting to access Trap17, hosting, and caused red flag of abuse). But I can see that Tamposch just made a post. The issue is no longer relevant. Case re-opened.

the reason he could do that is because he is going through a proxy, meaning it has something to do with his ip.

Forums Have Changed For Me
(1) Suddenly today whenever I visit a topic rather than displaying ther posts one after the other it

Two Errors I Get.
On my phpBB2 forums. (1) One is one I think everyone is getting. I tried to submit a support request but it says I have to
define a language. I click the button and I get a WHW error or something. Then it redirects me back

Moving Phpbb2 Forums To This Host.
I want to make sure it goes right. (3) I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings....
Mods/admins Big Problems With Accessing The Forums Here! [resolved]
sme silly JS redirect all the time (7) Hi there Im having a nasty issue with accesing the forums when javscript is enabled in my browser,
both in IE6 and the latest FF, at the moment JS is off which is why im able to post this. Basically
when i access the forums the forums shw for a split secnd and then are replaced by a blank page with
a link saying "Click to show/hide »" with the url f that link being whatever page i wass trying to
get, with a hash, eg trap17.com/forums/# and if i click that link it just repeats with the forums
than this blank page. Any ideas what it is? I dont see how it could be my sid....

empty as they have just been added (Aug 17th, 2006) to my already established software download

How To Get Members
this always seems to be a problem for my forums (8) I can never get enough (any, hehe) members for my forums, I'm wondering why. My forums are

Fantastico Is Not Installing Forums Properly

Installing php msg boards (9) I am trying to put php forums on my site. I think the only ones around are these
http://www.phpbb.com correct? even if there not they seem to be what most people use. I currently
have proboards which deffinelty leaves alot to be desired. What I am wondering is after i download

Firefox Log Out Problem
on my forums (2) I hope this is the right place to post. I have this wierd logout problem whenever I use Firefox .
I've setup the PhpBB forum package for my website and have also installed the extreme style mod,
and I'm sure that the problem is not caused because of this. Now, whenever I click on the "log
out" link on my forums, I'm redirected back to the main page without being logged out. I
thought this was a problem with my forum package and so I tried the same process using Internet

This bug is messing up my forums (10) Hi guys, I recently encountered a bug in my forums which i think is due to a mod i must have
