PC browsers because game consoles are for games and most of the time, they are way to hard to move the mouse and surf the web.

Browsing the internet on a game console is like inserting a square peg through a round hole - it's just not meant to be. Controllers make it harder to navigate the page than a standard keyboard and mouse. If you do by chance have the proper attatchments, then still, with the little hard drive space and incompatibility with the most common applications, I would not really use it. Besides, TVs display things in different colors than monitors.

The problem is the TV's resolution makes everything on the internets seem super small. Wii provides a solution by zooming in on the page, but another problem arises where you can't see enough information. If we sat as close to our TV's as we do to our computers, we would be fine, but since we like to relax in a distant chair with game consoles web browsing is inefficient. Additionally they are slow, even the PS3 browser is slow for some reason, lack of RAM probably. Wii is actually pretty fast but it takes too long to type without a keyboard. I think the next generation of game consoles will just drop web browsing all together, its ineffective and a waste of time and money. Though I admit watching youtube on my TV is pretty cool, I'll probably be able to do it better with an Apple TV later this year. Maybe someone will find a solution to this problem and computers will become outdated, but I doubt it. Another problem, by the way, is that web browsers take too long to access - with Wii, it takes about 5 minutes from startup until you actually get to your browsers, but in PC it takes seconds to load up a computer and start browsing.

It's about time I post this one, I've been using SpaceTime for a while now. Website:

use firefox though, but due to the features of SpaceTime I use it for searching websites and images.
What are the features of SpaceTime? The most efficient feature is the 3d searching. ...
Super Lite Browsers?

super lite browser. I mean, liter than Opera. I want it to be super fast, and super functional, but
I don't want a crap load of extra stuff. What I want: Tabs Speed Same abilities to play flash
objects, java, etc. simple look... barebones... skeletal if you will What I don't Want: extra
plugins that are not required for function bookmarks/favorites fancy interface. So yeah.. if you
know of any browser like this.... even if it was made in some guys basement, I...
The Future Of Web Browsers
- Where do we go from here (6)
Browsers are probably the single most desktop application that evolved the most in the past few
years. Up until Internet Explorer 6, browsers were simply browsers, an application that browses
webpages. Indeed the internet itself hadn't changed that much. Then Firefox came and changed
everything. But, the web has changed a lot too, enough to warrant a new version no. but browsers
havent truly caught up yet. Sure Firefox, with all its extensions can integrate with various web2.0
services, but its pretty superficial and flaky. We are expected Internet Explorer 8, and ...
