So many counters available... But still, for me... for now... Extreme trackeris the one and only - I used it on all my free sites, because its free, discreet and almost non-visible - also looks nice.And has great tracking system.

It gives you a complete analysis of each visitor to your site including their IP address, browser used, OS, time visited, length spent on site, where they came from (referral URL), and oh so much more. I use that myself for my site, and it is sometimes very helpful. For example, you can examine the pages that each visitor views, so you can easily find 404 errors on your site. Highly recommended.
Extreme checker does almost the same thing, so he'll have a hard time figuring out which to use lol...

Yup, i use stat counter too, depend on it you can know the recently keywords which help you a lot in atracting visitors
Hi there. Why don't you try the one in your cpanel? I'm using it as well and it works just fine. There are a lot of templates you can choose from and pasting a few lines of code in your pages is easy and fast.
OKcounter.com has free counters, and they aren't boring looking counters, they have hundreds and hundreds of skins, and the best part is, you can make your own counter skin. It also has a hit/stats report thing....I think
 .I think you should visit OKcounter.com to see what they offer for yourself. 
well also if you want to get a good idea on how php look php sources for counters as well.
The ones at http://bravenet.com probably aren't as good as the ones listed already but they've got a lot of other stuff for sites as well, pretty good for extra site stuff.

I use a combination of the one in Stat counter and in c panel. Between those two counters, I get the info I need.
They do not give exact matches, but overall they are close enough. Also, what I like about Statcounter is that you can set it to ignore your own visits. Sunkist
We have a few counter scripts posted in our tutorial section, but as far as stats I tihnk people already posted the good ones. If you want a visible counter for your users, then I suggest using a few from trap.

counters.nextdesigns.net They have a whole bunch of styles and stuff, and a really good ui panel. Try it out, it's what I use.
