First of all: why you need a free host if you already found an awesome one . Second of all I wanna warn you all: this hosting site isn't as free as they pretend. They give you three choices: Payed hosting for over 6 euro's a months. Free Subdomain hosting and "free" domain hosting. But when you click on the free subdomain hosting it says that it is "temporarily disabled" and you can only choose for the domain hosting, and if you do so you have to register a domain by them, you can't even use your own domain. Final note: they aren't quite as good as Trap17 or Astahost. They offer the same bandwidth, but less webspace, only 1 (!) MySQL database and I heard lots of people saying that their servers aren't even nearly as reliable as they pretend. I say: stick where you are and don't get screwed.

No wait.. 5gig.com is giving out free domain hosting also? If the entire hosting plan is free without forced ads and forum postings, then it's somewhat looks better for those who dislike forum postings everytime to keep their webhost alive. Furthermore, it had free domain hosting according to 5gigs.com. I'm not sure about it. I've signed up a test account at 5gigs.com to test if the quality of service and if the free domain hosting is true. I'm waiting for it's activation link to be sent to my email.
I'm not saying I'll move hosting service or whatsoever. I'm just wanna try this host to see if its true about what they advertised. Why not, its free.. And no harm testing another webhost to see its quality.

Nope, that's why I was talking about their "free" domain hosting. Because it isn't free. Infact it's even more expensive then most domain registrations. You pay $10 a year for your domain and some low quality hosting.

Ok.. The test account I've set up from 5gigs.com looks bad.
Firstly, the activation link which supposed to send to my email after I've completed my subscription form took more than 30 minutes. It certainly gave a bad impression that their servers are slow in handling tasks.
Secondly, another activation link is said to be sent again after clicking the first one. So another time I've got to wait again. This time the activation link brings to an invalid page.. Totally crappy, isn't it..?
So that's it for 5gigs.com.. Say goodbye to it and stay with Trap17.com
It's not bad to share the knowledge. But please do check the terms/conditions properly when deciding to go for a free host. 5Gig clearly says they will go for ADs on free sites very soon.
Theres all ready a [cross]good[/cross] great free web host infront of you - Trap17. As Inspiron has posted 5gigs (or whatever its called)'s service is crap. This is like (for example) posting on a Runescape Supporters forum "Runescape sucks" - your going to have angry mobs chasing after you left right and center.
I've never used 5gigs before (and don't plan to), so you might think that I shouldn't be judging them, but I already have a perfect web host and it goes by the name of Trap17
Ive used 5gigs before, Its an ok webhost but it can be slow at times in my experiance. Also when trying to log in to FTP it would fail alot, I dunno why cause that has never happened before with my other webhosts but overall I would not recommend this service. Stay here

HostGator isn't free web hosting like Trap17. But it is pretty affordable. And I have had
multiple web servers hosted there. So I figured I'd post my review of them. First off, their
