Hello all you FireFox user's! Did you know that on croatian language FireFox means > "VatrenaLisica" Anyway here is the deal: with this easy tutorial you'll get very fast pageloads in firefox browser: just follow this simple code: CODE Here's something for broadband people that will really speed up Firefox:
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
* network.http.pipelining * network.http.proxy.pipelining * network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
* Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" * Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" * Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now! That's all, hope it's working for you!

My guess is that it would help a little, but not much. And if you're reading this and not doing it, then you are missing out on a serious speed increase.

y'know I didnt find it that helpful, rather dull actually, didnt notice a speed increase, just hundreds more "page cannot be found errors"

You must have messed something up then. I have known about this for a long time, I just never bothered to put it in until now. Trust me, if you do it right, it will help a lot.

I just tested this and it does make the pages start loading significantly faster, asthough images and smiliar material still loads at the same speed.

Well I figured out that point here is that you cannot boost it anymore then it is already everything is just in your mind and even if there is boost you want notice any significance because you are not loading any large data like when you have downlaod accelerator and it boosts your download by several same downloades of the same file because file is largere but the thing is that sites are much much smaller then this and they cannot be downloaded in that way to make any significant change over time.

EDIT: Mod please delete. Ironically, my Firefox crashed while Buffalo posted his reply so I was unable to see he said to post further discussions to that link. My apologies. Awesome, thanks a lot for the tutorial. You can tell the difference after making the changes you suggested.

Firefox Hates Moveplayer
Help me save my crashing browser. (5) I have a serious problem on my main PC. Firefox refuses to open. It goes directly to the crash
report, listing the add-ons that failed on startup. I managed to launch it from the Run window into
Safe Mode, and again it crashed immediately, but this time only listed one add-on: MovePlayer. The
uninstall instructions I found require a Firefox capable of loading. I'm running Windows XP and

Internet Explorer 6.x More Secure Than Firefox 1.x In 2006
