Ez Cube Lightbox

Emerger
I photograph beads for my wife. I have had a few problems. First they are small, so macrophotography is needed. Second they are silver, so getting the white balance right is tough. Third they are shiny so reflections are a killer.

Look at this bead:

You can see the reflections behind me.

Or check out this one, it's even worse:

You can see me holding the camera. I think it makes my hands look big, don't you?

Then along comes EZ Cube. It is a commercial lightbox. Made of white nylon, it provides smooth light. Stops all the harsh shadows and reflections. What a difference. Check out this bead:

Much nicer. And the white balance was a snap.

Here is a link to their site. I have no affiliation with them, except as a happy customer.
EZ Cube

They have a lot of accessories to go with the basic box. Check it out.

Is there a way to stop these reflections? I mean they need to be photographed at least for commercial purposes right?

Is it only photoshop that can do the magic?

I think reflective silver is about the toughest thing to photograph. The EZ Cube is the best aid I have found. You still get some reflection, but not much.

Here is another bead that is mirror like.

Inside the cube you see soft white reflections instead of pictures of me or the walls and ceiling of the room. This makes for a very acceptable photo.

My only criticism is that the surface is dulled. Looks more like pewter than polished silver. But I haven't found a way to get the full reflective surface without the reflections that are so distracting. If anyone else has ideas, I'd love to hear them.

using a studio type od box is great especially when it comes to small things such as jewlry. and also alot has to do with lighting and angles but having the EZ Box im sure is great.

It really does show a big difference from the first few shots to the last couple.

When the Web 2.0 and Ajax era kicked the best of the best in programmers started creating scripts of

is well customizable to fit various formats, such as images, videos, and even maps. To start off I
will post a link to the original source of the script, I think. Lightbox The object of this
script is simple, when a user clicks on a thumbnail version of an image it does smooth transition of

Ok we've all heard of the Mentos+coke experiment, and if your like me you're already so
annoyed by all the stupid different videos and everybody constantly bringing it up, and normally I
wouldn't even talk about it, but I did have an ingenious idea yesterday. We freeze mentos in
ice cubes ahead of time, then we throw a party, where we serve coke (of course) with these ice

  4. Lightbox Js Error In Opera
    Opacity Issue (2)
I use the Lightbox JS script for displaying images ( seen here ). It works great, but the trouble
is, in Opera when you click an image to view a larger version, the image will load up and everything
like usual but if your mouse cursor is hovered over the image the opacity will get stuck at less
than full. When an image usually loads the opacity starts at very opaque(maybe 0) and fades in to
full opacity. But for some reason in Opera, hovering over it will stop this function from finishing.
Take a look at the script and see if you can help me figure out why this is happen....

    Awesome image gallery script (3)
Lokesh Dakar just realeased his new Lightbox script. It is an awesome image gallery script and can
really make any standart image gallery stand out. I have worked with version 1 of the script and it
was great already. The preview is awesome and I'm looking forward to implement it. The best
thing is that it is really easy to install on any type of image gallery you might have online
already, all it takes is 2 minutes of coding and a few find&replace commands. Wow, this sounds
more like an add for the script lol.. but yeah it is free and I love it: Lightbox JS v2.....
  6. Rubix Cube
Are you a mouse or a master? (45)
Just wondering if anybody here has ever been stupid enough to torture themselves by buying a rubix
cube. I bought one and all I can say is that this square, colourful, plastic device has plagued many
hours of my free time in the past few days. I've heard of some people doing them really quickly
but I'm not even close, whenever it seems as if there is a clear solution you just get bitten by
    a horrible clash of colours!....
