| | Hi all, i was wondering if some people would have time for check out the site im building and tell me if the template is there takes some much time for load. I used it before but never thought in how fast (or slow) would load for some people, cause it has Flash stuff, etc.
Just want to know it before i go any further working on that template.

For a dial-up user, yes it would take quite some time to download it all, i estimate around 30 or so seconds. A broadband user would take under 5-10 seconds.

mmhh... must not be that bad then.. i have about 800kbps DSL and it takes about 5 or 6 seconds. thanks for the answers i guess im going to work with it.

thanks for the answers i guess im going to work with it. I have dial-up with an accelerator program and it took about 20 seconds to load. Not really that bad.

it took me (DSL with speedbooster router around 1-2 seconds.

took 3.437 seconds to load leme guess e107??? anyways thats not a bad load time but i have seen better for pages like that o btw ive got comcast high speed 9000 kbs/400 kbs on speed tests...

About 6 seconds to load. I'd just like to add that I love that template, it looks so nice, did you design that? It's totally me!

i have cable and it was ok. the images took like 2,3 seconds to load.

Need Help Choosing Old Or New Site Template
Keep the old one or this new one? (13) Well as a lot of you know my current site is http://ojproductions.net . I have been really getting
into CSS. It's awesome haha. Anyways i started to make a site out of mostly CSS. I think it
looks much better and more professional. I want to know what site you think is better. So:

Vectorized! (11) The thing about my latest template is that I didn't want to make it insanely customizable like
my last one . So instead of having text they can change, I made an image the title of the site. To
edit that would be to ruin the effect. I love the colorings on it and I wrote a lot about it on my
journal thing along with some other stuff. And yes, it's available for download! And yes,
it's XHTML 1.1(still checking out XHTML 2!)/CSS valid! Anyways, comment, criticize,
utterly shred to pieces and then mercifully tape together - your choice /smi....

It's wonky but it validates (12) I created this monstrosity after having a funky dream about it. Apparently, my brother had to come
calm me down because I was yelling "THE FORMS AREN'T WORKING" in my sleep. Nerdy dreams rock

the header image and then naturally I did the nav-bar, then the background, and then the footer.
I've never used backgrounds like the content div has before, but I wanted to try them. I think

My Template
(9) This is the first proper site i have ever really made and i've been working slowly on the
homepage for quite a while, and i still have a few things i want to do. The site is going to be for
Resident Evil 4 and all i've really done is make the homepage and it will take me quite a while
to finish the site. The banner at the top is temporary and i will get a better one made by someone
