Try http://yoursite.trap17.com/cpanel or http://yoursite.trap17.com:2082 and if you've just created you're account try waiting upto 48 hours =] patients is the key.
Yeah chappill is correct, you need to log into your website/cpanel using your trap17 sub domain. the mange page is to manage your trap17 account and your hosting account. You need to use your forum login information to get into the manage page, and if you get there you can log into the cpanel that way as well, but the layout chappill provided in logging into your cpanel the old fashion way.
Shane Sonnier,
One topic regarding you unable to log into your cpanel or Manage page would be enough As explained in your first topic, try resetting or changing your forum password. You'll need your forum password to get into Manage page. Once in, you will need your hosting credits to change cpanel password. If for some reason you cannot get to Manage page, even after changing your forum password, check to see that you have any special character as a part of your forum password. Use just the alphanumerics and try again.
Thanks for the assistance. I just had a similar problem. A few months ago, my Cpanel page was version 2, but somehow it got upgraded to version 3, so the link was changed, with the old link no longer in existance. I didn't know about the change until I logged in by going through the http://yoursite.trap17.com/cpanel. So, thanks again for your help. You guys are lifesavers.
Yeah I'm facing the same problem as well. I've just created my hosting account and everything went fine, but then when I tried to log in to my cPanel using www.yoursite.trap17.com/cpanel it kept giving me this error "Login Attempt Failed!". So as I understand from previous posts, all I have to do is just be patient and wait up to 48 hours, right?
Thanks for the support guys
I was fiddling around with the numbers on the end and learned that 2083 also works instead of 2082 :S I don't see a difference though.
I was fiddling around with the numbers on the end and learned that 2083 also works instead of 2082 :S I don't see a difference though. Port 2082 is the default (HTTP) connection. Port 2083 is the secure (HTTPS) connection.
It's been more than 36 hours since I created my hosting account and I still can't log into my cPanel. I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow morning (according to my timezone) and then try to log into my cPanel. But what if it didn't work, what would be wrong with my account, and is there a way to fix it or make it work so that I can log into my cPanel? Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance
Are you using your cpanel login information, as your forum login info will not work, also passwords are case sensitive and using special characters for your cpanel login is ill advise and if you forgot your password, go to www.trap17.com.manage to change your password, it will cost you 15 credits to do so.

I am having the same problem, but I will wait 48 hrs before worrying too much, but cpanel ( sub domain name) still does not work..
I haven't replied because I have not logged in to see your PM Anyway, I am able to login to your cpanel using admin's password. So I am leaning towards your browser's setting. When you establish a hosting account with Trap17, you can access your cpanel immediately. The only possible reason you wouldn't be is when you have changed nameservers for your TLD (Top Level Domain). Sub-domain accounts by Trap17 are immediately accessible upon account setup completion. Before you PM with your domain name, cpanel username and password try enlisting your domain as a TRUSTED SITE in your browser. Be sure to enable cookies and you have to see SECURITY ALERT message box to continue. If you have disabled this alert message or turned it off you cannot log into your cpanel. This setting is a must. You can always reset your browser security level and try it again. Hello BuffaloHELP, thanks for your support but I still couldn't login to my cPanel. I did everything you said, I added my domain name to the TRUSTED SITES on 2 of my browsers but it never worked. I am using the username and password which I obtained right after I created the hosting account so I don't think the problem is that I'm using wrong login information, but anyhow could you please send me the login information which you used to successfully login to my cPanel? and are there any suggestions on how to sort this problem out please? Thanks in advance
