I just wanted to let everyone know that If you download free stuff off of the internet that it usually comes with spyware, trogans, or even viruses so just watch out and scan your computer daily!

This can't be considered news anymore, it's just a fact and part of the online life (spyware, trojans, virii etc in general).

Er...we already know about that. That's why I'm more careful about any freeware/shareware that I download from the net.

I know I've already posted about Nonags heavily already but I'd like to emphasize again just how good they are at checking all the freeware and shareware that comes in not only for viruses and trojans, but also for those nag screens or stuff about free trials. They refuse to even put demo stuff on their site, only stuff that is a full program and 100% free with no popup screens for it.

I've gotten a lot of great stuff off it before and never had any problems. Awesome site.

I have norton antive virus and everytime before i DL somthing it says checking for viruses and then i Dl it however does it also check for spyware? or is it soley the viruses and ive never had it say "yes there is a virus" so im begining to doubt if it really works considering my computer is chalked full of spyware and pop ups that say ceres on them
