It is indeed a very good anti-virus software. I have been using avg for more than a year now. I like it a lot, way more than when I had norton or mcaffee. It isn't a cpu hog and has many nice features. One feature I like the most is heuristic analysis, which scans files for viruses that arn't out yet. I have yet to have any problems with it and it has found many viruses that norton and mcafee failed to find. I highly recommend it

Yes it is one of the best free apps I have ever used in a long time, i had this on my laptop when I was a noob pc user now I still have it today 2 years later I love it scans emails and does everythign an anti virus program should do and for the best price of all, free ftw!

AVG Free is what I have been using for some years, I've found it less buggy than some of the better known brands, it operates smoothly, updates are quick and plentiful, and it hasn't let any virus get into my machine yet. Being free it sits right in my ideal price bracket. I have this installed on both of my computers, and my mum's, brothers and fiance's computers to keep them safe. i'd rate it 9/10

Wow thanks for the find. I've had AVG on my computer for a while now and it's working great but recently i changed my anti-virus to NOD32 it's uses less ram then AVG and it scans faster. But if you don't want to pay i say go AVG Anti-virus. I'd rate AVG 9.5/10

I put together a new computer recently and installed AVG Antivirus on it thanks to the recommendation of a friend. I did find though that it scanned rather too often, and I couldn't get the auto updates to work properly. I later switched back to avast! (which I had been using previously), which works for me no problem... so I don't really know

AVG Free Edition is really one of the Best Available Anti-Virus. It has lots of features and very frequent updates that keep us bay from existing threats and that are yet to come. I recommend everyone AVG because its the best freeware available. It even has a support forum and all queries can be cleared there.

I had been using it for around 4 years now....i fin dit much better than norton myself in the terms that it doesnt use all your cpu etc..plus there is loads of frequent updates for it...and because of that you can keep it running constantly ..without ur pc going slow....and it will catch a virus in real time b4 it even gets to wreck havoc on your cpu.....only problem i found with it was..that when im playing a game..and i forget what time the scan is sqeduled for.....the whole computer LAG's like mad..but i suppose thats normal I highly recomend this tool

Yes, I agree with you on that... AVG is the best free Anti-Virus program. It detects Viruses faster & better than Norton does.And the best part of it is its for free. I have that app downloaded & it detected Viruses that Norton didn't. Its just uncomparable with the price!

I'd have to echo most sentiments and agree that it's one of the best free Anti Virus programs around. Regular updates, upgrades to the program, and detects viruses that the paid version of Nortons wont detect. It would be a good compilation with any spyware program IMO.

Well, I have used it now for tree monther, and I recommend it. Avg Scanning Capabilities are excellent. Also the Updates it works wery good with me every time I need. So the viruses it doesnt get more new, when the database it gets old. U know what I mean. Well, if you need free good antivirus use AVG!!!!111 Glory for the freeware. My self I use now norton antivirus, but thats because I run some little homeserver on my computer, and I need the best knowledge. For basic user, is avg the best.

I have used AVG Free in the past and I was very pleased with it. At one point I was running two anti viruses at once because I got AVG Free and forgot to uninstall my old one. I opened a file that I had downloaded and AVG said that it had a virus and would not let me open it. The other antivirus did nothing. If you are looking for great free software to protect your computer this is a very good choice.

AVG is the best free Anti-Virus program, but free is free. I have that free one downloaded & it detected Viruses that Norton didn't, this happens sometimes ago when I installed both the anti-viruses in one system and I had asked the members opinion on this if this is a good move. Everyone disagreed though. They advised me to just use one anti-virus at a time. But its just uncomparable with the free tag it comes with! But somehow it couldn't detect some virus and my computer got infected with virus. I had to install the windows newly. But yes, it is still the best among FREE ones.

State Of New Mexico Dot
What a great program. (1) I was in Albuquerque New Mexico yesterday and had to stop along the freeway (I-25) to adjust the
load I had on my pickup. I no more got into the back of the truck and a big yellow truck with
flashing lights pulled up. He pulled up beside me and asked if everything was OK. I told him I was
okay just needed to adjust my load so it didn't fall out and create a problem. He told me that
was a good idea, thanked me and backed up to sit and warn other drivers with his lights. This is a

Software with great interfaces (4) I really like using software that have very good user interfaces. Most mac softwares are really

noticed that I am pretty high on resistance bands for exercise. I began with a set last fall and
have progressed to my most recent set, the Lifeline Gym. I thought I would share some observations.
I have found that the resistance bands give a very good workout. They are safer to use than free

Runescape...not That Great
(50) I just finished playing runescape, and I have to say....its no that great. It is not compatible with
56K modems, and it downloads too much stuff onto your computer. The graphics arent very good either.....
