| | AMD has released details of its next-generation desktop CPU interface, namely Socket AM3, to its OEM partners.
Also suprisingly AMd revealed that AM2 will be compatible with AM3 CPU packages also. Also, recent roadmaps have confirmed that AM3, AMD's future desktop CPU socket, will not be backwards compatible with AM2-package CPUs. R
From the most recent AMD roadmap is also clear that AM3 "supports either DDR2 SDRAM or DDR3 SDRAM, but not on the same motherboard." This will definetly be a great news for upgraders, as there is a very clear upgrade path: CPU, motherboard, and then memory.
Hey ... wait .. but then this also means that AM3 CPUs will have both DDR2 and DDR3 support!!.
DDR3, like DDR2, has 240-pin, but the two formats are not pin-compatible.

Awesome man, my next rig is going to be insane I'll tell ya. Im planning to having the new M4 CPU chip put in it with also the next gen GPU card. As for the ram, same thing aswell, next gen DDR2 or even DDR3 if its even out by then. Its amazing how far this technology has gone, and with this new stuff coming out. Gaming will be alot more smooth and enjoyable to all, the only problem now is the cost of things... =(

Can't Send A Support Ticket!
(1) I tried to send a support ticket to Xisto Helpdesk. However, when submitting it, I needed to fill in
text from a captcha image "Please enter the text you see in the image at the right into the textbox
below.", but the image just won't load for me. I tried in both firefox and IE. On IE, it shows a
cross. Please advise me on this or point me to another source that can give me the help I need.

Support? I Gave Up!
(1) My business has been without working email for over a WEEK. Customers are calling and complaining,
and the hosting company does, well, nothing. I have been waiting for hours for the so called "online
support" (no status message on the system notification that this service is down - just learned
about it in another thread minutes ago). Two support tickets filed (IGX-436840 and CDZ-706390),
increasing priority daily a bit up to "critical": Still none answered properly within 6 (!)
days. I am giving up on this and switch to another host now. For your information see ....

sick of submitting tickets and not know whether they are being worked on or not. All it says is
