As most of you know, as if the large banner under this doesn't give it away, I run the website ZROenergy (hosted by the great Trap17). Anyways, to the subject.

During the pass few days I've received an average of 60+ hits. At the beginning of this month I was receiving 100+ hits on average. I'm linked to around 35 websites - some receive less than 10 hits a day - others a little bit less than me - and only a few receive my amount if not more. I'm linked with Becca, from Trap17, who runs Vintage Fairy (dot) com. (Which is a sexy website I must say.. drop by and say Chris sent you!) And I would surely like to affiliate with others from Trap17 - why? I don't really know. But it would be nice to be part of a larger community together, in which we can give reviews of each others websites - sometimes in affiliating - you gain a friendship - because you visit each other's websites daily.

I affiliate with E/N (ie everything/nothing) websites, some blogs, and most importantly with MUSIC websites... being because my website is a music based website. I "big link" (ie 88x31 images) music categorized websites while I only "small link" (ie 88x11 images) other types of websites. So, if you would like to affiliate, please put my button up on your website (found on my website's about page) and reply here (replying in my shoutbox would also be nice) and I will most likely put your image link up - I rarely refuse to link to anyone... but it does happen in some vary unusual cases. I don't care how many hits you get - quality is what I look for - I don't want my affiliates to make my site look bad - just as I'm sure you don't want yours to... who wants to be put in the same group as beginners - when others view you as an expert (yes, imagine that! haha) - and who wants to be categorized with rippers (ie stealing other people's designs! - I DO NOT affiliate with rippers).

And thus, this has been a long post so I will say good bye... and I hope to be viewing your site with one of my images on it soon!

i don't think affiliation programs are any good. better submit your site to google and yahoo directory to recieve more hits..

You must not have that much experience in web sites. You gain more "members" through affiliate programs like this - however it is really not a program, just a link image trade. I gain 99.9% of my hits from these - while only a few, lets say 3 people a day, come through Yahoo and Google.

Man that's a whole lot of affiliates you got there..no wonder why you get 100 hits a day..if that's waht you said . i wouldn'y affiliate with a site like taht because that's way to many and when a person see's that he won't know whcih one to click on. The Less the Better, just need to know who you affiliate with.

That is not necesarily (sp?) true, one click on your link and you may gain a regular visitor which in turn turns into one gauranteed hit per day... and they spread the word.


Dan - Since your site is not of music I would rather like to link to you with a 88x11 image.. please make one... I would cut down the one that you put up.. but there is not button as "this page cannot be found."

btw im just curious but why did fre3 get a 88x31 banner if it's not about music (atleast if i dont see anything related to it...). Of course that he may be your friend or something.. so theres no problem on it..
