| | I am not able to adjust frames length/width in a frameset using java script functions
I am using firefox 3.
In below code changerows is not working for me. Where as same is working in IE6.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
Note: here frameset1 is the name given to the FRAMESET.

maybe the code is different for FF 3... there must be a way to change that. (sorry I can't help  )

Try placing "document." between "parent." and the frameset's name: CODE parent.document.frameset1.rows If that doesn't work, then when you try to call the function, check out Firefox's error console.

Thanks for your reply. I tried using parent.document.ecp_cart, even thats not worked for me. As per your suggestion i checked error console of firefox and i found an interesting thing that "parent.ecp_cart is undefined". I am quite confused with this, because if i use some thing like below its working. parent.index.location ="abc.asp". Where index is one of the frame in ecp_cart frameset. If parent.ecp_cart frameset cant be identified how come its able to identify parent.index. Can you please help me to understand this behaviour. Thanks in advance.

Maybe index returns a value that can be matched to the frame's node (i'm not sure why it works), but consider using IDs as an alternate solution: CODE parent.document.getElementById("id").rows="%, %";

Is It Possible To Create A Web Based Mmo In Javascript?
And could there be free movement without reloading the page? (4) I would like to get some information before launching myself to the JS libraries. Is it possible to
load maps or images and with the press of a button "scroll" or move the image inside some kind of

Simple Firefox Vs. Ie Script Bug; Need A Little Help
Simple script works in Firefox but not IE. (3) Hello I have a simple .js file that seems to work in Firefox but not IE. The error could totally be
my syntax, just not sure why it's working in one browser and not the other. All I'm doing
is waiting for an image to load completely before redirecting. I added an extra step that waits an
additional 1.5 seconds just for 100% smooth transition (sometimes firefox reroutes before the image
is actually fully loaded). This script works perfectly for Firefox, meaning if the image is already
loaded/cached it reroutes immediately and if not, then waits with extra dela....

Javascript Events Not Working For Ie
(6) I just made this little html file and I used javascript to show which arrows you're pressing. It
just says the key code, but only for the arrows, so it will say "37, 38, 39, 40" if you're
pushing all the arrows. When you let go of the arrows, it won't show that value. It works

Help With Javascript Calculator Returning "nan"

customers custom computer system price by assigning each form option a dollar value. I have done so,
with a script that seems like it would work, but am having some problems. I feel that I have the
