You must first officially create your account. If you were approved make sure you went to the Trap17 Process Page and created your acccount. http://trap17.com/process and it's the first link. If you did so and it created it successfully your cpanel can be reached at http://yoursitename.trap17.com/cpanel (if you used a subdomain) or http://yourdomain.com/cpanel (if you use your own domain).

Checking permissions.. Sorry! You are cannot signup for a hosting Package! I GOT THAT from xisto... and i'm approved--- i had 18 points.. then reduced to 2 then i tried to apply but couldn't then i reached 12 again and tryed.. again a failure then i though i might change a password or something.. another -10... oh well..

Your group says you are already hosted though obviously I guess since you are posting here which means you were able to sign up. Try to double check you spelled your domain right and your username and password. Were you even able to get to the log in for hte Cpanel for your site?

If you can't remember your password you can get a new one by going here http://trap17.com/process/change_password.htmit will cost you 10 credits to get it change.

When you say you "can't" log into your cpanel, are you getting an error message saying that you don't have the permission or invalid password? Please specify the details in which your steps have been processed. This will reduce wasted time trying to figure out the exact issue. Have you clicked on "YES" when a browser authentication window pops up? Are you entering your CPANEL user ID and password and *NOT* your forum ID and password? Are you using the correct URL? It's your-sub-domain.trap17.com/cpanel and not anything else.

I got the cpanel pop up so either your connection is not accepting it maybe it is your browser settings. What kind of connection do you have?

I think i have solved the problem of login to cPanel. It was the firewall!!! Just add a rule in firewall which allows that IP you got in mail of Xisto Corporation... To add a rule in windows firewall go to Control Panel --> Windows Firewall Under the Exceptions tab go to Add Port... Under the Name: "write_your_subdomain_or_whatever" Then click on Change Scope choose * custom list and PASTE That IP you got from Xisto It should be similar on other firewalls. I also played with Internet Options.. and Internet Security in IE, but that doesn't change much, and i think that is not the problem (at least for CPanel) I hope this helps... P.S. OMG, WHATA CPANEL !!!! =)

Operation not permitted I seen to get this error when CHModding the above folder. My boards
images will not work, I've tried help from IPS, and one of the IPS Resources staff, and no help.

Suspended Account
I need help and fast (1) My account was recently suspended because my hosting credits went below 0.00 days, this was totally
unintentional because i was away and didn't have access to a computer. It was a family issue.
Anyways i posted in the forums and my hosting credits are now 6.34 days, but when i try to log into
the c-panel it doesn't want to enter. It doesn't say anything about an error, the page
simply doesn't load. I don't know what the problem is and i want to use the same sub domain.
what should i do. do my credit have to go up to a certain number or what exactly is....

Trap17 account for my new site, and am setting up FTP access. I can login quite fine by using the
default login details, using my cPanel username and password as my FTP login credentials. However, I

Hosting Problem [resolved]
403 Forbidden Error occurs whenever I try to access my site (22) First off, let me say that I have spent considerable effort and time going through the forums

Fantastico And Cpanel Skin Problem.
(1) I changed my domain from tf2maps.trap17.com to fearclan.trap17.com recently, and when I did,
everything was working fine, except cpanel became really ugly with this rvblue skin that I
couldn't change, and fantastico and phpmyadmin weren't working. Can I get my skin changed
from rvblue to somethiong better, say the one I had before? I think it was called cpanel mod x3 or
something. The frontend for rvblue is my cpanel ip:2082/frontend/rvblue/index.html But the one I
want is my cpanel ip:2082//frontend/x3/index.html which says 404 not found. I really want tha....
No Site Access
(4) It was working the day before yesterday and then it started giving me error messages about not being
able to access the site. I can't access cpanel either. Neither page ever loads. I don't

Can't Access My Site....weird Issue
(5) Okay, so last night everything worked fine. I loaded up cpanel, fixed issues with the site after the
database move, etc. Today I'm unable to load up the site. It just keeps giving me ping
timeouts. With what I'm being told by others it is only me having this issue with my site, and
yet there have been 0 changes to my pc between it working and not. I have tried multiple times

Cannot access webmail yet. (7) After all the troubles over the past week, I have everything set up, my access to MySQL databases
restored, however, I cannot access my webmail yet. I log in on the screen before you get the choice
which webmail to use (Squirrel, Horde or Roundcube), and when clicking on Horde I get "Login failed
because your username or password are incorrect", with Squirrel mail i get; "ERROR: Connection
dropped by IMAP server." and Roundcube (probably as the name implies) keeps going round in circles.

How Do I Find My Mysql Password? [resolved]
Cannot access my MySQL (5) After all the recent problems, my account has been restored. I have setup my parked domain agin, and
that works fine. However, I can no longer access my MySQL databases (I can from PHPMyAdmin, but

Remote Access Mysql
(8) Is it possible to directly access my local database from my website? For example, if somebody
submits info on my website, the info they submitted would be transferred to my local database
directly. Is that possible? And if so, how do I set that up? The reason I don't want to upload
my database to my subdomain is because it would be difficult to keep the website database and my

Unable To Replace .png File In Directory
Can't even delete it using Cpanel (7) I can't delete a little file using file manager in Cpanel. I'm trying to delete a .png
image, actually, I'm trying to replace it. The response comes back as a success, but when I
reload my site it's still there. Then I go back to the file manager and go up a level, then back

Cpanel Help, Trouble Logging In.
Cannot login as it states "Login Attempt Failed!" (4) Before I was able to login within my Cpanel without problem but now I try to login and it states
"Login Attempt Failed!" which makes no sense. I made sure nothing was written incorrectly within

Gamma Servers' Problem
This topic is for all who have their account on Gamma Server & ha (1) Okay I see a lot of chaos all around and my site zoebelkin.co.cc is still down. Everything including
FTP, CPanel etc are down. My site is on the gamma server. I see that all the servers are moved
around a lot and the IP blocks also changing. So what is the new IP set for 'gamma'. When
doing a reverse check on gamma I see it is still assigned to it's previous IP but when I'm
trying to access the previous IP's port 80 then I get a Server not found error. Also the
gamma.xisto.com name for the server fails to open the default Apache page which it used to ....
