Technology In The Future

jmb2006
i reckon that in a few 1000 years into the future, updates/upgrades will be available to humans, e.g. more memory. Humans will slowly develop into computer like systems All controlled by the Earth Overlord, Me.

Also the internet will be 1,000,000 times bigger than it is today and domains will get so complex, e.g.
http2://sitename.internet1.earth.1221082341
there will be things like TCP/IP version 10
HTTP2
FTP version 6

and ip address will have evolved even longer due to the internet being available to other planets. 21424.4993.439.143234

this is just a rough guess.

I don't think that it will be so worse there will be come a other system to solve this problem.

I agree with the wide spread internet usage. Also, there will be robots for every purpose. And spaceships to transpot us to off-world colonies. Also, replicators like from Star Trek (machines that can instantly reproduce almost anything like food or equipment). Warp drive will make interstellar space travel possible.

No need to study.
No need of drugs.

well, for me, the future means the convergence of mankind and technology. instead of working against us (like in The Matrix) man will devise ways in which he and technology will become one, and tech will find a place in almost every other aspect of life, be it eating or sleeping or our daily routines or whatever.

Umm. I think that hover cars will be something that will be considered. But for at least the next 100 years, we will be concentrating on more envirionmentally cars that will be either hybrids, or powered by hydrogen or solar. As for movie actors, I think they will still be around. I mean, the it is a big thing to be a movie actor. They won't give up that kind of "power" so easily. TV will probably improve with suround sound built in. That will be cool!

Ive always expected something like the movies that are based on the future.... I mean they have like floating cars, you can freeze yourself and all that. You may even be immortal by then. Computers would be so innovated you would die from the graphics. It would be like living in heaven. Thats if we dont die from anything til the feature is fully developed. In the bible there are alot of points where it says we can all day like 6/6/2006. Thats a day...

i guess most of the things around us will be push-button or voice activated ~
as for the movie part... hmm
actors still have some things that computer generated ones dont have, so i guess they wont phase out that easily ^^
maybe combing the two would be more nicer~

QUOTE THIS MAY SOUND incredible but the way technology is growing this will shortly be possible.
Research by Sammy Phang, Queensland University of Technology’s Faculty of Built Environment and

technology to unlock our homes, access bank accounts and log on to our computers. Of all the

  8. The Marvels Of Technology
Smaller Device, Lots of Space (3)
The marvels of technology surprise me to this day. Like my new MP3 player for example. It's a 1

  9. Tesla's Wireless Power Finally Coming True?

Nikola Tesla was one extraordinary man. The city of Buffalo was once his play ground for his ideas.
But due to many undocumented feuds with Edison (yes the very one) Tesla's contribution to
electricity world went less than well notice... that is until now. Tesla worked on transmitting
mass volts across the distance without the aid of clumsy wires. Let's face it, the power poles
and loosely hung black wires across your block are just an eye sore. But Tesla's methods were
quickly overshadowed by Edison's quick and easy solution--run wire grids to provide e....

  19. New Technology Gives Thought More Power
    (14)
http://www.physorg.com/news7746.html A chip inserted into a patient's brain can allow him or
her to control a robotic arm just by thinking. This has enormous implications, seeing as the first
test patient is a paralytic, but he has been able to draw and use a computer with this arm. It works
by reading the activity of neurons then sending the data to a computer. Some scientists believe that
this will lead to an era where all we will have to do is think to accomplish most tasks-including
communication. I for one think that this will just make the obesity problem in....
  20. Heard Of Oled?
    latest visual technology (13)
Hey guys have you heard about OLED? Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology An OLED is
an electronic device made by placing a series of organic thin films between two conductors. When
electrical current is applied, a bright light is emitted. This process is called
electrophosphorescence. Even with the layered system, these systems are very thin, usually less than
500 nm (0.5 thousandths of a millimeter). When used to produce displays, OLED technology
produces self-luminous displays that do not require backlighting. These properties result in thin,

  23. New Technology To Be Implanted To Human Body

I have read in the news paper, a local news here in the philippines that during the convention at
singapore, Bill Gates says "New technology soon to be implanted in the human body, but I will not
try this experimentation in myself.." Is it possible the somebody is working to implant computer in
the human body? Wow,,, very interesting, but do you think this will help us? if the computer is

  24. Ipv4 Vs. Ipv6
    IPV6 the future. (10)
Another article I did to compare IPV4 and IPV6. Ipv4 vs. Ipv6 Ipv4 is the fourth version of
Internet protocol, but the first one to be widely deployed. It uses a 32 bit addressing and allows
for 4,294,967,296 unique addresses. Ipv4 has four different class types, the class types are A, B,
    C, and D. An example of Ipv4 is 207. 142. 131. 235. The ipv4 uses a subnet mask because of the large
numbers of computers used today. The subnet mask helps reduce the number of unique IP given to
companies, corporations and so on. An example of a subnet mask is a company. A arch....
  25. Use Of Technology In High School
    (53)
I really despise high school students that can learn real computer skills in their school; part
because my school's computer program is crap. Anybody can use the computer better than the
computer teacher, and most of us don't even get a computer class. The result? Half of my
classmates doesn't know how to use Excel or Powerpoint. Most of them hardly know what Photoshop
is. Technology is progressing at a really high rate, and it is becoming a big part of our lives.
You're basically disabled if you can't use a computer. So why doesn't high school ....
  26. Sony's Patent On Apparent "matrix-like Technology"
    (14)
Sony patents 'real life Matrix' Obviously the news report has been hyped up to a large
extent, but this patenting is ridiculous. QUOTE The patent - based only on a theory, not on
any invention... I mean, how the hell can you patent a theory...? Does that mean I could go
off and make a patent on something currently in development and yet not fully developed and have
exclusive rights to the technology or what? And does that mean they have exclusive rights to that
technology? (I think so, but then, I'm not an expert in IP law) Anyway, this is ....

http://www.livescience.com/humanbiology/05...rain_study.html Braingate article This is really
cool. While it has been in development for a while in monkeys this article really explains what has
happened. The baingate is a small chip that is placed on the persons brain and senses the firing
neurons. It send this information to a processing computer which translates it. The current test
