Although you should also note that system restore eats up your hardrive space. When I turned off my system restore, I got 7 gigs back into my hardrive.

Not wonderful, it takes plenty of space + doesn't work when some virus or worn is in your comp + it doesnt work in 90% of other cases

Please would like to tell me how can I turn on and off system restore but keep the data that have been saved for restoration. I tried many times but previous data everytime deleted. If you know a subsitute of XP system restore please inform me. Sohail Ahmed

I know everything about system restore and the way it works. Just Like AVfreak said, system restore eats a whole lot from your harddisks. Basically, on my Win XP, I generally reduce the hard drive space allocated to system restore in order to save my HardDisck space. On my Win Vista, I run Disk Cleanup from time to time and I ensure that I clean up the system restore while leaving the most recent restore point which will only be taking a few MBs. sorry please, I have double posted again. Winxp, Winvista And Linux Multiboot
Is it possible? (15) well.. I have 4 partitions in my hard disk drive, I have windows XP in the primary partition (C:),
and Windows Vista on logical partition (D:)... I want to install the Linux Kubuntou on the logical
drive (E:).. I didn't want to start setup cause I'm afread from losing data on the primary
partition untill ask people who have tried installing Linux like my situation .. I don't know

Document, setting and other garbage stored in the C drive. You know how normaly you have folder

Need To Restore My Disk

Please Help! Problem Installing Winxp Pro
(4) I’m hoping someone on here can help me with my problem, because I’m at my wits end. I have tried
everything I can think of, and have not found a solution so far. When I try to install WinXP Pro

Winxp Hangs
(4) I have just recently started having trouble with my winxp pro. The trouble is as follows: start>my
computer open c: drive start. my computer open d: drive now with both windows open (c: D: both hard
disks) I can right click on mostitems that are NOT folders and a context menu comes up. Now if I
right click on a folder (like I want to copy or select properties) it will stay with an hour glass

Search Bug Under Winxp Sp1
i'm in trouble... any ideas on this? (0) Ok, here's the deal. Every time when I try to make a search if it's set to search on
mycomputer, or only C:\ disk, after few secund of searching it crashes coputer, causing a
