Is your windows xp on your system behaving erractically after some software or configuration changes,a simple way to fix it up is using system restore to restore your winxp installation to its previous state.you can get system restore frm the startmenu-programs-accesories-system tools system restore, raise the window for system restore and it the windows lets you to restore ur system to an earlier date, create a restore point or undo a system restoration,by default it prompts you to restore d system to an earlier date, click next and select a date in d next window tht comes up,click next and the restore process starts,u will be notified of a system shut down and restore indicator comes on,when its thru the system reboots and your windows xp configuration has been restored to the way it was on the date you choose, simply isnt it biggrin.gif

Although you should also note that system restore eats up your hardrive space. When I turned off my system restore, I got 7 gigs back into my hardrive.

I know everything about system restore and the way it works. Just Like AVfreak said, system restore eats a whole lot from your harddisks. Basically, on my Win XP, I generally reduce the hard drive space allocated to system restore in order to save my HardDisck space. On my Win Vista, I run Disk Cleanup from time to time and I ensure that I clean up the system restore while leaving the most recent restore point which will only be taking a few MBs.

sorry please, I have double posted again. My Internet connection sucks n in a bid to make sure that my posting reflects in T17, i try to send it again. Please delete my 2nd post. thank you.

Alright, I was being the smart kid that I am (sarcasm) and decided to screw with my registry for new

that); however, when I went into system restore, the only restore points were the ones from January
