You just upgrade it... it comes with instructions to tell you how.. Did you not know that? It might be a bit confusing but it works

There should be instruction, contact invisionboard, I remember you have to replace all files except the config and the html folder, then run the upgrade file installer..

just shows the first port and the like a file directory underneath it e.g POST GOES HERE then

Two Errors I Get.
On my phpBB2 forums. (1) One is one I think everyone is getting. I tried to submit a support request but it says I have to
define a language. I click the button and I get a WHW error or something. Then it redirects me back
to the main page. Then at the bottom of the sumbit request page is says that this feature has not
been set up by a admin yet. I think everyone is getting this one. If so please say you are or if I

Moving Phpbb2 Forums To This Host.
I want to make sure it goes right. (3) I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings....
Mods/admins Big Problems With Accessing The Forums Here! [resolved]
sme silly JS redirect all the time (7) Hi there Im having a nasty issue with accesing the forums when javscript is enabled in my browser,
both in IE6 and the latest FF, at the moment JS is off which is why im able to post this. Basically
when i access the forums the forums shw for a split secnd and then are replaced by a blank page with
a link saying "Click to show/hide »" with the url f that link being whatever page i wass trying to
get, with a hash, eg trap17.com/forums/# and if i click that link it just repeats with the forums
than this blank page. Any ideas what it is? I dont see how it could be my sid....

How To Attract Traffic To (new & Empty) Software Forums
(1) Hey guys, what's the best way to get more traffic at my new software forums? They are pretty
empty as they have just been added (Aug 17th, 2006) to my already established software download
site. The idea is that the software forums can be where you discuss the programs that you
download... Each program in the download site has a link to its category in the forums. Since empty
forums are hidden, it can be a bit confusing, but everything is integrated with the actual software
we have listed. Once there are a few thousand posts in our forums, we have plans for displ....

How To Get Members
this always seems to be a problem for my forums (8) I can never get enough (any, hehe) members for my forums, I'm wondering why. My forums are
usually well-rounded covering several topics, those topics may be unrelated, though, is that why
people don't join? I figured if I have a little bit of everything than everyone will be
interested in joining, but I have seen that specialised forums get way more members than I. Any
suggestions on what topics I should use? Whether I should focus on one topic, or how I should change

Fantastico Is Not Installing Forums Properly

Problem (3) My website is up, but when I click on the links to get to the phpBB forums I have hosted, there
seems to be a problem. It is giving me errors. The forums have been kept updated with the latest
version, so I doubt it was hacked. Is this a PHP problem that trap17 is having, or is it just my

Installing php msg boards (9) I am trying to put php forums on my site. I think the only ones around are these
http://www.phpbb.com correct? even if there not they seem to be what most people use. I currently
have proboards which deffinelty leaves alot to be desired. What I am wondering is after i download
the forums and upload them via ftp. Where do i upload them to? the Public_html folder? and if so
can i edit and/make boards and categoirs etc just from being an admin on those forums or do i need
to go through the buttons on my cpanel Labeled MySQL Databases, phpMyAdmin, PostgreSQL Database ....

Firefox Log Out Problem
on my forums (2) I hope this is the right place to post. I have this wierd logout problem whenever I use Firefox .
I've setup the PhpBB forum package for my website and have also installed the extreme style mod,
and I'm sure that the problem is not caused because of this. Now, whenever I click on the "log
out" link on my forums, I'm redirected back to the main page without being logged out. I
thought this was a problem with my forum package and so I tried the same process using Internet
Explorer and to my amazement, I got logged out. I tried logging in and logging out a co....

PHPBB2 Forum Bug
This bug is messing up my forums (10) Hi guys, I recently encountered a bug in my forums which i think is due to a mod i must have
installed in my forums. Look at the pic below and tell me what i can do about that. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled my forums 3 times now due to forum bugs and i dont wanna keep on doing
