my best characters:(ordered)
1.Falco
2.Luigi
3.Peach
4.Roy
5.Young Link/ Link (same)
this game in my opinion is the best fighting game ever. it takes skill and a noob cant just walk up and button mash and win against an advanced player like in other fighting games. even the cheepest tactics can be countered by a skilled player.
according to many tiers(best character lists) there are the top characters:
1.Sheik(not zelda)
2. Fox
3. Marth

The characters i'm best with are: Link, Shiek, Fox, Marth, Pikachu, Mario, Dr. Mario, Capt. Falcon. So far, i've beaten everyone that has fought me. Sometimes people double-team me, cause it's the only way to win, sometimes. But, that sometimes doesnt help. Good practice, though.

This game is awesome- My best chars: 1. Samus (she rules) 2. Falco (speed, just not as much power) 3. Mr Game and Watch (super moves.. sho nuff) 4. Mewtwo (Samus-alike, just with more variety, disable move is cool, i've got some nice combos) 5. Most everybody else, except Zelda/Sheik, I can't kill efficiently with her. Together, my little sis and I have murdered every level of almost every difficulty (still haven't beat with everybody on 'Very Hard') We're working on All-Star with Zelda, Mr Game and Watch, and DK, on Very Hard mode.. Panda - Loves this game, and practically runs it.

I love super smash bros melee. I am learning the advanced tactics at the moment. Mostly Wave Dashing, and Shffling. My best characters in order. 1. Link 2. Roy 3. Kirby 4. Shiek 5. Fox

My characters would be 5. Link 4. Falcon 3. Fox 2.Pikachu 1. Donkey Kong I have played on the older version on N64 more but I think they are both great games

i love smash bros melee its so fun my top 5 characters would have to be by far if any 1. Samus 2. Captain Falcon 3. Kirby 4. Donkey Kong 5. AND EVERY ONE ELSE! i dont really have a favorite i like em all cuz their really cool in my mind.

Super Smash Bros is by far the best Gamecube game of all time. My favorite characters in order are the following: 1. Sheik. I don't care what anyone says, sheik is by far the best character, because she is amazingly fast and you can annoy the heck out of people with her hit and run moves; and needle storm. 2. Marth, he is much faster than Roy, but is still powerful. 3. D.K., with him you can swamp opponents with his extremely powerful moves. 4. Ness, you can use his pike thunder to save yourself even in the worst positions. My favorite level is Hyrule Temple, its big and if you stay in the lower part it is exceptionaly hard to die. -reply by The Sledge

Adult Link is my absolute best character! Usually I used to play with Peach only, but I hadn't realized how hard she actually was to use. Sheik is good because she is so fast! But I hardly use her because I'm too lazy to transform in to her... laziness is also a very bad thing in gaming.

I only have the N64 version 1. Kirby 2. DK, mario, Captain Falcon Many people think kirby is bad but if you know how to use him he owns I think the worst characters are link and samus. Link doesn't have a good recovery move and samus doesnt have anything powerful enough to kill with -reply by albino

(4) Has everyone heard of the sequel being at launch of the Revolution? Yup, Super Smash Bros Revolution
(Not official name). Why does Smash Bros., a big hit (almost everyone loves this game), only come
once a console? Who knows. I believe the new Smash Bros will have all the characters they had
before, plus many new characters. I believe Ganondorf will get his own moves instead of being a rip
off of Captain Falcon (that would be nice), and i think they will distinguish Marth from Roy more as
well as Falco from Fox, and Pichu from Pikachu... actually no, Pichu shouldn'....
