Starting Friday, May 4, 2007, the summer movie season begins with the release of Spider-Man 3. It will be arguable the biggest movie summer in recent history.

May will see Spidey battle Shrek and Jack Sparrow to see who is the true king of the box office race. It's the battle of the tree-quels. Will Spidey and Shrek prove to have box office legs, or will they fall into the clutches of Johnny Deep in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End?

At June, we will see the return of Marvel Comics' first family of superheroes, The Fantastic Four, and everyone's favorite terrorist-busting cop John McClane in Live Free or Die Hard.

July, the Autobots and Decepticons go for their big screen rematch under the direction of helmer Michael "Blow-em-up" Bay and Executive producer Steven Spielberg in the new live-action Transformers. Then Harry Potter returns for his new year at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Plus, Homer's big screen debut in The Simpsons Movie

In August, it's the assassin without a past Jason Bourne's third, and possibly final, chapter in The Bourne Ultimatum, and Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker makes massive property damage in Paris in Rush Hour 3.

I hope to see you at the movies this summer.
