Is suicide illegal? Didn't know that... (I don't really pay attention to anything.)

Who are you to determine what's right and wrong?
You've obviously never experienced a false sense of hope or any kind of cognitive distortion while thinking. And if suicide was 'right' and not wrong then everyone would be doing it. People who consider suicide can't just snap out of it...or take a deep breath and go dancing in a patch of flowers. They're mentally ill. It's just like how people who are anorexic can't just all of a sudden go, "hey you know what, I am rather thin, I think I might go and eat a hotdog"...It just doesn't happen, they need mental help and training, and by the sounds of your post, I don't think you've ever experienced why or how people do things like that.

Suicide and feeling 'a little bit down' are two entirely different things. It's people like you who made emo people invent that annoying catch phrase "you just don't understand me".

A friend of mine killed herself a few months ago, and it wasn't over breaking up with a boyfriend or anything like that...She was just miserable. and she wasn't "stupid", either...She was doing marketing at university and was a very smart girl. When she died, I didn't understand, she seemed like she was enjoying her life, to me anyway, I used to work with her and I guess she was hiding it pretty well...Although a few weeks before her death, I spoke to her on the phone and she told me she was being stalked after her handbag was stolen...and she seemed so angry, like I'd never heard before.

I feel like if I had've stayed at her house for a while or something and took her shopping and stuff around the time she died, I could've prevented it.

I think suicide is wrong, and I think preventing it is also important. People constantly tell me that people will turn around their lives and decide that this is the wrong way out. However, this isn't always the case. Someone close to me has been suicidal for three years and still threatens to do so regularly, and I don't even think it's a serious threat; perhaps it is just a basic cry for attention. Anyway, if I hadn't let people know she was trying to kill herself I have no doubt she would of; I don't think I could have lived with that. It's funny, I started typing this post with the intention of explaining why preventing suicide is a waste of time and then began to realize how I would feel if that person was dead right now. I guess if I'm against capital punishment I have to be in favor of preventing suicide, so yeah; suicide is terrible.

yeah i heard that somewhere that suicide is iligal (that might be the street wisdom but i saw it belivible)

suicide is illegal? i wasnt aware of that? so you are saying that, if you commit suicide but not kill yourself, you are in big trouble with the law? anywho.. wow so many replys to my post

well when i said GAY i meant in the california way to say, it sucks... you know like when ateacher is really mean to you, and is alwaysing idk bugging you, you say, OMG THAT TEACHER IS SO GAY

I dont know how many levels of wrong commiting suicide is. It is your body and all, but it's still murder if you your not capable of making decisions properly (Which depressed peeps aren't). If for some reason a mentally stable person wanted to commit suicide, I think I would do it with him just because I would be that surprised!

suicides - the word could be classified under the 'stupid' category. But i do feel, mercy killing should allowed.

In some medical cases, i have seen people who are sure to die, but they undergo lots of physical stress before they finally die. It really makes me feel sorry for them. So, maybe few cases like these could have a different tag to it.

i do not consider sucide is wrong coz it the menatal capability of that personb to sustain in this life. if that person has no wish and desires to live when there r no one for whome he can live why do others want that person to live.. do we take care of thjat persons emotions. no we dont even bother for the reason for what the other person ios depressed
always for sucide the only cause is lonelynes caused due to the negleted behaviour all others and his loved once.
So i do noe go against sucide. As a matter of human rights i prefer that right has to be given for a human.

i dont get suicide, i mean look how long it took you to grow up, thats quite a while if your a young person. why would u want to redo that?. and ill never get the people who make their death a publicity stunt. if you want do the world a "favor" by killing yourself (if your that depressed) why would you make it a stunt by jumping off a building for instance, because we would have to walk past your body on the street below, which is really disgusting and depressing, i mean by looking at your body on the street someone could become really depressed and kill themselves too, like a domino effect. basically i think everyone can choose to die or not, but u should kill yourself in the privacy of your own home, so other people cant see you.
