I don't think people come for the skins. They come for the posting and the hosting. The skins would maybe be a good idea though but I don't think it'll make a difference on the number of users. There are already over 20,000 already. As for the games, they don't do anything towards contributing to the forums to get web hosting so they started a separate forum for gaming and what not. You can find that at http://ipbgaming.com They have an army system and plenty of games you can play there.

The skin is what it is because a while ago when we had a nice skin with images and all, members were complaining about slow loading time. So we made this one the default. If you want a new skin you can still use the old one in your skin picker.

hmm, armie system no its boring arcade, yes i agree there sould be somthing like that around here just for the fun of it..... skins, hmm i dunnno i think this works just fine and looks pretty professional

I saw this in one IPB Board. I forgot the URL. The Highscorer in a game gets some amount of the money system they use in the board. The same thing could be done here, the highscorer getting around 2 hosting credits.....

Trap17 Home Page Banner Mistake
(3) I just now noticed that the flash banner at the top of trap17's home page has an error. It says
"THE BEST YOU CAN FIND ON WEB". Obviously it should read "on THE web" since "the web" is the phrase
always used to refer to the internet, and not just web. This is about as major and noticeable a
mistake as the site could make, so I think this especially needs to get fixed.....
Typos: Editing The Trap17 Rules
(0) I noticed there was a typo in the Rules because of them being quoted in this topic:

Trap17 Radio And Suggested List
(2) Trap17 Radio My suggestion today is maybe a Trap17 radio. Not like a radio
where someone talks, just like there are multiple DJ's and they play music. Then there could be
a request box where members can put requests for the DJ's to play. We could embed a realplayer
into the page so you know what song is playing, etc. If the DJ is not taking requests, they can put
a message above the request box saying "The DJ is currently NOT taking requests." The DJ must supply
their own music, equipment, and have a high speed internet connection with fire....

use the cpanel etc. In my opinion, that should be an all-in-one document which can give answer to
all of our queries. And that would contain screen-shots wherever possible.(I have phpbb used guide

Trap17 Should Offer Free Domain Name
Why not starting free domain service? (22) Now days, free hosting can be seen on all places. But free domains are given only by a few sites or
with big hosting plans. Also "Free Domain" catches a popular search keyword. You can provide free
domains for 80 or 120 credits. Iam sure that this will increase trap17 popularity as well as its

Donations To Trap17
For members who want to say thank you (3) (I dont know if anyone else had an idea like this... if it did please excuse me) I have read
Trap17's Story in the General Section and since I'm a member for over an year and a half and
I'm very pleased with Trap17 I want to donate a small amount of money (what I can spare). As a
gift not as any fee or something... It is a way to express my gratitude to Trap17 and it's
admin. Trap17 has over 19.000 members now and if only 10% of them would donate 10 cents it would
still be over 190$. It would be great if the admin could open some donation accounts a....
Topic Subscription Suggestions
(4) I don't know about other people, but when i choose to subscribe to a topic I always choose the
same exact method of notification (in my case, none at all). It'd be rather nice to have an
option to set a predefined choice in order to cut down on all the needless repitition. Certainly not
a huge problem, but it'd be nice. It'd also be nice if the topics you subscribed to were
listed on the mainpage of the control panel. It already lists recently viewed posts (which is kinda
pointless in my humble opinion), so why not add that as well? Thankyou for you....

accounts as cheap as $3.33 PER YEAR . Check it out. The only valid suggestion here is about
Payment Method. Moved to Suggestions for OpaQue to see. Closed. The replies are getting redundant,

The Trap17 All-purpose Help Desk
Just an Idea... (4) I love what Trap17 is doing here. I love being apat of communities like this, and here you got
hosting for it! What more could you ask for! Well ive got an idea: The all purpose help
desk. We have so many users here, all of us together probably have knoweledge about pretty much
every thing. So why not open a "Help Desk"? At the "Help Desk" Users could submit a question about
any thing (Probably via email) then us here could sort of "Claim" the message if we know the answer.
All the question could be posted in a forum here, then once a user "Claims it" the topi....
Compute's Suggestions
(1) I was just wondering why is posting is the only way to get credits. Wouldn't it be nice if we
could get points by doing other things. For example recommending people gives you like 10 points or
maybe making a chat room (not shout box) and in that chat room ever time you say something you can
get for example .1-.5 credits, Trap17 can also place ads on hat chatroom to make money of it. I
think that building a chatroom will make getting points fun and not just annoying. I'm not
complaining and saying its to hard to get credits I would just like a fresh new way to ....

a button and topsites 4 trap17 members (5) I have some good Ideas. I think we should have a button on the top of the forums that brings you
back to the forum index. Also, I think we should have a topsites list for trap17. There are many
good free ones out there, and I think it would be amazing. Think of how we would think of other
members? Joining would be optional. It would iclude the top 10 and baners for them in a nice little
table, and the rest can upload or provide an icon to the left if they are in the top 50, and the
rest are shown on a seperate page. What do you guys think of these ideas?....

New Theme Of Trap17

Trap17 Competition?
(3) I thought it would be a good idea to introduce a competition for the Trap17 community members. The
competition could have many categories like "Best design for a website", "Best content for a
website", "Best overall website", etc. (of course all of them would be Trap17 hosted). Hosted
members could submit their websites for the catagories and probably be selected by member vote or by
selecting certain members as judges to decide the winners. A reward of some sort would make things

A Couple Of Quick Suggestions
Spellcheck and new subforums? (2) I have been wondering - it will be really nice if we could have a spellcheck feature on these
forums. I'd personally like to quickly spell check my posts before sending them in. I know that
the "Preview" feature should suffice, and anyone really obsessed with spellchecking should probably
copy his(/her) post on a text editor and check it there. However, this is a facility I've been
used to on a few other forums, and it'll be a nice add-on. It would probably help members whose

Why Not Have A Pet Section?
I'm sure there are plenty of animal lovers in Trap17 (12) Well why CAN'T we have a pet section such as for fish, birds, dogs, cats, etc? I mean I'm

you might know this site: fishforums.net. It's a very active and popular fish/aquatics site for
info and many things. Why can't we have it here? In this fish section could also be an aquatic
