| | Well, I did. I am really looking forward to this game. I saw the site for it and so far the Protoss look really cool. The graphics are far more advanced then those of Starcraft/Brood War. The Protoss have new units that look really interesting and with the dropship, I guess you can use it in place of a pylon to power your buildings. Also, I read that Gateways now act as Warp gates to teleport you to other ones of your own anywhere on the map. The Dark Templars are cooler, too. They have new suits and stuff now. It looks really interesting. Oh and I got all this information from Starcraft 2 Site. |

Yeah thought so too but there was a topic on digg where this was talked about and I was wondering if this was it. Anyways I have seen the site and videos and I believe it is the next game I am gonna buy. Hope my PC suports it ;-p

Getting my XBox 360 this Friday and then I'm hopefully getting a car when I turn 16 and have my license. Gonna cost a lot and I might not have enough lol. Maybe I will. Anyways, any other opinions? I think this game will be a great one.

STARCRAFT is great but i didnt liked the graphics, even flash games based on STARCRAFT looks better

And StarCraft 2 is going to be so much more fun with much better graphics. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it will be able to connect to Battle.net just like the other Blizzard games. If it does, Battle.net will have so many more people. I think a lot of people are looking forward to it.

Hmm... I'm looking forward to seeing the Starcraft 2 Map Editor, as it is supposedly alot more flexible (and in turn, better) than the Warcraft 3 one, which already has a staggering amount of features you can use to change the typical melee map setting to something very different. Probably why the Warcraft 3 Custom Map community is so huge in comparison to the Starcraft (original and Brood War). I'm also concerned about how Blizzard is going to balance the three races once again (which I doubt it will get any more balanced than its predecessor) seeing as its 3D and with all the new units and all...

Hmmm, that'd be fun. However, since we don't know when it'll be coming out, what about a Starcaft tournament? It could be original or Brood War (the expansion).

Well, since Starcraft is still my favorite game that I've ever played, I'm definitely looking forward to Starcraft II. While Warcraft III was all right, the gameplay felt very lacking compared to Starcraft. In my opinion, focusing too much on fancy graphics actually detracts from the game, hopefully that won't happen to SC II like it did to War III (in my opinion). There is no doubt that Starcraft will be Battle.Net capable, in fact, it's almost absurd to think that it wouldn't be. From what I've read they're also thinking of revamping Battle.Net a bit as well. Blizzard is rare in the game industry, because they don't release a game until it's done. Also, done for Blizzard is a lot different than done for most other companies. Blizzard tends to focus heavily on testing for balance, glitches, etc... Essentially, we probably won't be seeing it for quite a while yet (unless they're just telling us it'll take a long time so that we don't bother them). It'll probably cost the same as most new games nowadays, $40-$60. (My bet would be $60)

Starcraft Help.
(3) My main race is Terran, and I pretty much need help in all the matchups. The one I need the most
help in is vs Protoss, though. My usual strategy vs Protoss is to get 8 workers, then a supply
depot, then on the 11th worker I make a barracks, then on then 12th worker I make a refinery. I make
a factory when I have 100 gas, then a second factory when I have 100 more gas, and I add a machine
shop to the first factory when it finishes. This whole time I'm pumping workers, rines (up til
about 4-5) and tanks. When I have around 5 rines and 3 tanks, I move up and expand. T....
