Does anybody know how to use SSL with php?

I want to make an website where customers place orders, but I need to secure the connection and encrypt the data.

If you can link any tutorials that would be great.

You configure your webserver to do this for you. PHP has nothing to do with it.

well you need this things:
Mod-ssl configured with apache
create a certificate
(if you run an ecomerce site you must pay one to verizon ..)

then use the https: link
