OK. In my personal opinion - Ad-Aware is the best

To quote geancanach, SpyWare Blaster is an excellent program, I haven't had any self installers(adware/spyware) install after installing this program. Excellent, and I've had it for like 4 months!  8)

Ad-aware SE is the best program for ad and spyware cleaning(imho). I use it for a long time and it always found and eliminate all the stuff that othrse couldent.

Yeah you did, but its really good. I have a story! Everyone get comfy...
I got a new computer and used it for about a week then installed a bum file and i got pop ups. Then I downloaded Ad-Aware and it found seven or eight files to trash and that was good. Then Ad-Aware told my my dectecting ability was over100 days old or something I was like "huh?!?!" cause I just downloaded it anyways I installed the new dectector rays and it found over 150 things to remove on one sweep of my drive - wow! and it was less than a week old, amazing.
So thats my story. You can all get up and have a snack now.

ok i use adaware and thought it was the bees knees ... and isnt too bad but after seeing the microsoft 1 i thought i would try this also ... now the pic im posting is straight after a Adaware scan plus definition update
i also got the spyware blaster tonight and see how that will go blocking it ...
my virus scanner also pics up adaware like gator and other known 1's but sumtimes things slip through

As for AdAware, it is a good program, but a bit heavy for workstations. it has that great app that is AdWatch, but has a few problems dealing qith automatic mode (and manual mode is the same as having no protection at all, since the users on my company have litle or no knowledge of computers.. just word, excel and IExplorer)
As for the new MS product, shouldn't it be already released with IE? (i think it's going to be, but when!?!?)
