| | I've had a hotmail and yahoo account for years and years. get a ton of spam in my hotmail acount, but right now, i am only concerned with my yahoo email acount that receives about 100-200 spams a day.
aside from the spams, my yahoo id is "calkid". calkid is a very popular screen name now and i even get emails that are meant for other accounts. i even get other peoples account names, numbers and paswords at times. the only explaination i can think of is that there are other calkid's, but they have #s at the end of their screen name(folowing me? i hope so....). so i don't want these emails either.
i know you can read an email and mark it as spam, but is there an easier way? is there a way to click all messages i want to mark as spam and hit send and do it in bulk or do i really have to read every single spam email just to mark it as spam.
what are my options here. i want to keep my account. i'm afraid to log in anymore. i hate looking at my acount now. it's gotten way out of hand. |

lol...if we have enough time & want, we reply the spam with our bussines offer, hope from that spam, we can find the real one & the owner still read the e-mail that sent to them.

QUOTE(speedybiz @ Dec 1 2007, 01:11 PM) lol...if we have enough time & want, we reply the spam with our bussines offer, hope from that spam, we can find the real one & the owner still read the e-mail that sent to them. that's old school. i used to do that when submitting on the free classifieds sites when that was not considered spam by the search engines. this is my personal email account though and don't want to waste my time with it. any suggestions? i'm getting some business opps in there, but mainly it's sex sites or pay to sign up offers or just ads advertising their offline products. i've had this account for 20 years but it's just becoming unmanagable. i don't like my spam folder or the filter yahoo uses and it's hard to go through there and retrieve the emails i want to save. i don't want to read each friggin one and mark it as spam. why i asked if there was a way to do it in bulk

E-mail Manager
- Do you have any e-mail manager which can support you to send email on (2)
Hi all, I am wondering to have E-mail manager which can support us to send email on the specified
selected date. I have been used "IncrediMail" and I like it very much. However, when I use
123greetings.com, I realize that I can send online greeting cards on the specified date. From that
time, I am always looking for a good E-mail service, software or webmail. I cannot find it. Maybe,
you know some good softwares or webmail. If you really know it, please tell me. Thanks ahead.

Starting A Free Public E-mail Service

Hi, do you guys think there's market for a new free e-mail host? I've been using Gmail since
2004 but I'm not happy with the "conversations" idea. Also, I think there's a serious
privacy issue with Google (but do other people care about that?). Anyway, I went looking for a
better service, but I wasn't happy with a single one of the services that I tried. It seems like
all either has too many ads, has a horrible interface or is slow/unreliable. I'm a programmer
and I've got enough money to be able to buy the hardware needed to supply quite a l...

A Short Article About Phishing And Spam Emails
- Maybe this will help those who are unsure (0)
Hi everyone, the idea of this little topic is for me to chatter on about Phishing emails, those
annoying emails that pretend to be from someone like Paypal and turn out to be a Turkish, Korean or
Nigerian group of so called "hackers" determined to steal your cash, also I feel like talking about
general spam such as "Enlarge your manhood one billion times with this wonder-drug" type emails..
This isnt pre-planned s i dont know where i will end up but here we go. Just yesterday i checked my
emails and ive recently used paypal to transfer a trivial amount of money to my ba...
Increase In Spam...

I have an 8 year old Yahoo! Mail account and for the past month or so I have noticed a huge
increase in the number of spam emails I receive. No only I get tons of spam (100-150 emails daily),
but some of them get into my Inbox. And I'm sure that didn't always happen. I have to admit
I have been pretty careless when it comes to reveling my email to some "questionable" websites (
/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ), but I never
had such a huge amount of spam. I wonder if this is a general thing? Have you no...

Hotmail Controls Spam Better
- (14)
I'm using GMail since June 2005. I love the sleek interface with no graphics and also the ease
of use. I really went after it because it was then offering the highest space for inbox. I also
have a Hotmail Account, eventhough I use Gmail I love Hotmail. The best part of Hotmail is that its
spam filters are more strong than that of GMail. I receive an average of 50 spam mails each day,
some even skip the spam filter and is displayed in Inbox instead of moviing it to spam folder.
Whereas in Hotmail I seldom get any spam. The inteface is also so good and easy an now t...
