| | This was also happening to the computer I am on right now before I reformatted it a day ago.
The problem in which I am having is the sound works for messengers and WMP I have on my pc. But the problem is I am not getting any sound off any other players online while trying to listen to videos or playing games.
So any help that can resolve my issue would be much appreciated. |

"other players..." as in online game? So, to recap, you're playing a game and you are also watching a video or listening to a music. And you cannot hear your online game sounds (whether it's a sound effect or players voice chatting)? Tell us what your playback setting is on...for example all are checked under your sound property, especially your stereo mix and "what you hear" Make sure not one playback volume is set on mute. There's a good chance that your online video game may have settings where two sounds cannot be crossed--much similar to video overlap where two videos that demand video hardware acceleration cannot be viewed at the same time. So the question is, were you able to listen to both previously?

Have you more then one Sound card on your PC. For ex one on your mainboard and one in a PCI slot. An other possiblity is that your Soundcard on your mainboard is not correctly recognised by installing Windows XP. The you have installed Direct X (used for most games). And afterwards installed you Soundcard correctly, then you have forgotten to reinstall Direct X. So maybe it will work if you download Direct X from the microsoft site and install it again. Also take a look at the control pannel / system if your Soundcard is corretly installed.

Sorry if I confused what I had said I am not playing to sound sites at once I mean just 1 site with a video or a game that is suppose to have sound will not even play sound.

Is that site made in Flash, or is it attempting to play a sound in the background? Perhaps you are missing some codec? Or your Wave is muted, or set to lowest setting? Tell us more about that site, about what hardware you have? There are millions of reasons that could happen...

Java Multithreading Issues
(2) So we have a web based application running on JBoss on several clustered servers. The front end of
the application is using jms to communicate with the middleware MDB, which communicates with other
backend application servers. The application runs well when only a few requests are submited.
However, when requests boost to couple thousands, the app starts to crash. The log files shows a
concurrency issue with the ThreadPoolExecutor. When we set the core size pool to one the issue was
solved. Looks like we have concurrent issue of multiple threads accessing same resource s....
Installing And Running Glype Proxy
(2) Ok so say i want to run a glype proxy on my hosting. I downloaded and uploaded he .zip file to the
public root file and extracted it. What to do now how will i make it work? How do i make any
scripts or anything work? Any tutorial links is much appreciated, as i don't know how to use
the cpanel to it's full extent and the video tutorials aren't that useful for other things.

Issues Uploading A File [resolved]
(3) Hi there. I have been trying to upload a zip file only about 2mb to my account through CPanel.
First I tried uploading it to a new folder in public_ftp. Then i tried to put it in the main part
of public_ftp. I also tried the same thing in public_html. It shows the file being uploaded, and i
get 100 %, but alas, when i look in the folders nothing is there. Is there a restriction on .zip
files? I have had no problems as of yet uploading htm and html pages. Please let me know ASAP.

Issues With Router Freezing
(3) I am curious as to if anyone else here experiences random freezing with their routers. It seems to
happen to me most when using my D-Link, and I end up having to unplug it and replug it back in every
hour or so. The same thing happens at my neighbor's house and we have the same type of router. I
don't know the model number off the top of my head but I can go check if it is needed. As for
the issue, I do use wifi internet, and so I was assuming maybe that could be the issue? I'm not
sure if maybe the internet being disconnected and reconnected extremely fast ....

Image Calling Problem Solved
I was having issues trying to call an image from a folder. (1) Alright so this is for example You'd have a site and the structure is like this.
http://www.url.com/ a folder of images /images/ and some pages in this parent directory. However,
I have another folder so it's http://www.url.com/other/ and this index page needs to call
things from http://www.url.com/images/ and it can't. It won't load. I've had the

working on this page locally and it seems to be working fine but when I upload it to my trap17
