Well the holiday's are upon us and so the theme is Christmas for this SOTW and so here are the

I've been allowing SOTW entries to run for 2 weeks to get more entrants, as well as voting. So
I'm figuring, 1 SOTW is lasting nearly a month. So why don't we have a SOTM? (Sig of the
Month). Nothing would change, the rules are the same. It'd just be an official change to allow
more time. I'm open for suggestions, it won't change until we get everyone's input - I
don't want some unautorized change. Graphic Crew members I really want your input on this. Vote

I thought I make it challenging for this week, and that is you have to use one of two images in your
design either be background with a render on it or just those images. If you go with the render it
can be blended with the design just as long as there is some hint that its there. If anyone has
questions about how this works send a pm or post your question here, but it shouldn't be hard to

I thought for this one I make it very challenging SOTW, and that challenge is that the sig has to be
design by nothing but filters. Which means no brushing or smudging, so for you gimp users you will
have a more enjoyable time trying to pull this off then the adobe photoshop users. As usually the

Me thinks perhaps the cycle has run itself out. Interest in this contest has waned almost to
a halt. This subject was argued before and changes were made to try to revive it. Participation
is down to 3 entries in #61. #62, which was opened over a week ago, has no entries as of today; 1

Well it is August now and that means the beaches will be closing, kids going to school, seniors

I decided to get the entries started today due to mack lack of lateness on setting the previous one
up, so this week it is an all out freestyle on pretty much everything expect for size and name of
course, Due date for all entires will be on July 14 instead of the first week of July because of the
holiday weekend for a lot of people including me. So create whatever kind of sig you want, just

Well After the great response in SOTW #28 I thought I throw a mini history of our SOTW contests
since we first started it going 30 weeks now. Also what will be included are record holders of
certain categories and what not. This will be updated on a weekly basis when a SOTW ends to see if

With word coming down about the soon to be upgrade of the forums to 2.2 this SOTW will be running
from Today till the end of the month (initial entries). Then 2 weeks for voting and we will pit the
best designers from across the forums for the logo not only for trap but astahost as well. Which
means you need to design two logos for both sites. Banner size 300px by 100px Hopefully the new
design will give a updated look to the forums when the 2.2 goes online. So GFX designers get your

Ientering in SOTW because it was fun -please let it be known this is my OPINION and if you dont
like it tough, it is not an accusation or a person bashing of any kind, just my OPINION- But
recently it has been dull, first with the SOTW that lasted a month because someone wanted to get
more entries because only like three people entered, then the current SOTW that's going on a
month now because lord knows why.... Used to like I think that if trap17 wants to run little
contests or if they want to request banners like for the 06 trap17 awards, or the domain name ban...
