I loved one of the pictures of your dog. Such a lovely dog. Some of the images seems to be a bit unclear, and some angles are not that flattering and good. I also liked another picture, but it is hard to tell what it was. laugh.gif The picture of the cat would be cool if it was a bit clearer. Try some different angles, and I am sure that you will improve.

may I ask the make and model of your camera?
just wondering.

I like the picture of your dog. It has a very sweet expression, and the picture is sharp enough.
As for your other pictures, just like what Bluebear said, they are a bit blurred and the angles they are shot from aren't meaningful. Still, practice makes perfect, so continue taking more photos!

Good pictures, try stabilizing the camera a little more. Also use the rule of thirds, that can help a lot. Picture the image you are going to take broken into 9 squares. Try placing the focal point on one of the corners of a square!

That first picture of your doggy was a very professional looking shot. It was from a good angle, the positive and negative space was balanced, the lighting was decent, and yeah.

How ever the other pictures weren't exactly as good.

I thought the cat picture was hilarious. Really. But it was fuzzy. (No pun intended.)

Now it would be nice if you would tell us the type of camera you have so we could tell you if it was good or worth upgrading.

Also try different angles, and lighting. Don't use the flash so much, because if you're photographing an animate being, than it will cause red eye, and if you're photographing something shiny it will reflect, and anything else just looks bad with that kind of flash.

And your brother needs art lessons.

One more thing: Practice makes perfect with image editing software.

I really like the shadows and the first picture of your dog. it's a very cute picture.
quality's really tough with digital cameras, but I agree try to work on the sharpness of your pictures (I have horrible shaky hands when taking pictures so I know how hard this can be...)

Slightly blurry. It looks like the camera moved as you took the shot. If the camera has image stabilisation, turn it on, and remember to keep your hand as steady as possible. Also, you appear to have got the shadow of yourself in the shot - try to avoid that if at all possible.

Much clearer this time, and the effect is quite good. If you've got manual focus on your camera, try experimenting with the focus to focus on wheels further away from you, which can add to the effect.

Good - this time you're not in it tongue.gif

Cutting the stand off wasn't a good idea, and most of the subject doesn't contrast with the background (grey floor, grey/silver bike parts) apart from the pedal.

http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn271/m...n/Uphigh004.jpg

The handle is too out of focus to be recognisable, and blocks the remainder of the subject that is in focus. Generally a soft focus is used to draw attention away from an object, so placing it centre-shot is not usually going to work.

The contrast between the sky and the flag is good, and makes for a nice effect.

Unless you were on a very steep hill, steep angles are not often a good idea tongue.gif

The definition in the picture appears to be in the wrong places. I would try to make the facial features clearer and lose the reflection of the photographer in the glasses. The loss of definition in the background is good, but shouldn't continue onto the jumper of the subject.

By far your best shot, and very professional. I can't fault it - very well done!

Blurred again - see earlier tips.

One of your main problems seems to be keeping the camera steady as you take the shot. Look into using a monopod, tripod or a Gorillapod to steady the camera and help you compose your shots.
