i'm from portugal and i watched almost all the games i must say that greece has a boring/defensive style of play, but (important thing)effective! oh well, maybe Portugal will have more luck in 2006 @ the world cup, new talents are coming!! like cristiano ronaldo (one of the youngest to play at the euro, but i'm sure there was 1 or 2 players younger then him)...

Soccer is my favorite sport. I can play anywhere especially left wind midfield and center defensive midfield even goalkeeper and I've tried coaching 7 year olds. It's fun. I support at least 1 club from every country in Europe but I always go for German giants Bayern Munich. I never got to watch Euro 2004. I ESPN and Star Sports plus 2 sports channels that feature craps and what have you gambling games in Las Vegas as sports but they only show highlights. But they don't show it here in the Philippines except in Channel 4 where you virtually don't see anything. If any of my soccer hating kababayans(countrymen) see this I hope they don't get mad at me. But then its more than just a sport. What makes it different from other sports is that it transcends itself from being a mere sport to an ambassador with multiple advocacies(Anti-Racism Movement, Tsunami Fund Drives, Special Olympics, Football for Peace). The U.S, for instance, has labeled Iran as part of a axis of evil but when those two teams met in a World Cup Final, none of those accusations came into play into the pitch. And for 90 minutes it was like those two countries were like longtime friends. The other side of the sport of course is tainted by Hooliganism and what have you rumours of perversion. But then they are neglible because its benefits outweigh its sick effects. Some people are just too poor and in this sport, at least they can find identity with all the other people of the world. In this sport they once again retain their dignity as human beings. No other sport can do that. Soccer Cancel For This Year
Topic says it all. (2) Lol i went out for soccer for like my 5th year but once every one gets into junior high they dont go
out for soccer thats weird (im in junior high) So this year we only had 13 people go out so we

Soccer Injury
need advice (6) Last saturday I was playing soccer with my mates for our club and some *bottom* put his foot in my
calf while I was trying to cross the ball from left field. Anyway the referee did not see it as a
foul and called half time as the ball went out after it bounced off him. At that stage I was just in

Need Tips On Training For Soccer
(2) I've been playing soccer for about 9 years now and ive mainly been defense. Im a fast runner but

Early- Bird Football Conditioning

Italy Wins The World Cup
(Soccer) Vs France (13) Well i got up at 6am (local time) to watch it and boy o boy was it a good match. France scored first
in about the 12th minute (I think). Italy replied with a goal in the 19th minute. It was a good
game, lots of close calls and some great goal keeping. The game went into extra time, still tied at
1-1, extra time passed, still 1-1 So there was a penalty shoot out. Both teams got their first 2
goals easily but then France missed! That was the only miss, italy ended up winning the shoot

Italy Defeated Germany In The Soccer Match!
(9) Woohoo. I watched the game early this morning (6am local time) and it was a goodie. Probably the
best game played in the world cup so far. The first 90 minutes went by, still no goals scored.
Lehmen( German goalie) made some terrific saves and kept his team well in it. The Italian goalie
also made some good saves, respect to an Italian defender (his name sounds like demovarra, the type
