Go Speed Racer Go Speed Racer Go Racer GOOOOO!! Talk about memory lane, most of were not even born when this anime came out in the 1960s, well maybe a few people . I was pretty pessimistic about this movie just because only people in their late 30s early 40s would remember this cartoon. There were reruns of this cartoon back in the nineties on cartoon network at like 3 or 4 in the morning, give or take . On that note lets break down the actors; overall I think they did a descent job but personally I think John Goodman and Susan Sarandon stood out in their supporting roles, and as for Ricci she was ok, although she could have done better with the character she hit hte facial expressions well, but I thought she lacked emotion. You could say the monkey was better , but I would say as for the villain, Roger Allam, hit that spot well, and you will remember him as the news guy in V for Vendetta. As for the story, hard to say really as there are no real spoilers to movie if your familiar with the anime except for this time they don't reveal who Racer X, but we all know who he is. Although you could say that this was the beginning of his grand racing career. Now lets get to the meat of this movie, the cars and all I have to say though only computer technology could make these cars do the things they do, since it would cost MILLIONS to make a car turn and flip like that, and of course the lack of gravity to. Special effects is what made this movie and also the coloring to, little bright, butt it works as it has that 60s-70s tone to it I guess. I would say that a new generation of speed racers will come out of this movie, until they turn sixteen and become EVIL teens , of course it would be interesting to hear what the hardcore speed racer fans thought about this movie. Wait! I have click here to see those hardcore fans, and I would have to agree to some extent, and that leads into my box office prediction and sadly to say I doubt it will make much even if the directors of the Maxrix did this movie and so I would put it at a disappointing $10-$15 million opening weekend, and topping at $40-50, which means it could be a bust because it cost at least 100,000,000 to make. However, I think the rest of the world would be able to cover that $50 million needed to break even, but who knows I was completely wrong on Iron Man and so it should be a interesting sunday to see what Speed Racer makes, and see how much Iron Man takes in for its second week now that it is on the net for illegal downloads and what not. Movie Previews The Incredible Hulk Star Wars Clone Wars (going to be a sick movie right there)

Alex's Review Of Hancock
(0) I don't review movies often, however I noticed that there was no review for Hancock yet, so here
I go... Hancock part one (1 hr. long, written by Vincent Ngo) was an amazing comedy. Perhaps it
just seemed amazing because my expectations were so low from people saying this movie was going to
be terrible, but I really enjoyed it and was glad I went to see it. Hancock part two ( 1 / 2 hr.
written by Vince Gilligan) was an alright action/thriller. Enough said... Alright. so I'm just
kidding about the writers, I really have no idea if Vincent Ngo wrote the firs....
Review The Nightmare Before Christmas
(0) me i feel this is the best film in the world not sure how many people would agree with me so
i've created this poll to see how many members of this forum would agree. when you post your
vote please state the part of the film that you enjoy the most and obviously im going to do as
requested by myself, my favourite part of the film would have to be the part when jack discovers
christmas town, and my most favourite song in the film is the oogie boogie song.....
Movie Review - Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian
(5) I just got back from watching Prince Caspian, and overall I was impressed. Narnia still looks great
if you saw the first one. The movies may seem that they are going out of order, but they technically
are in order. The movies are being released in the publishing date of the books. The movie was
pretty accurate when it came to the book, but of course it had some added stuff and removed stuff. I
actually noticed that some of the script is quoted straight from the book. The movie had some
awesome special effects, especially in the battle scenes. I thought it was a very grea....
Saint Michael's Movie Review Corner: Iron Man
(4) **Starts Black Sabbath Iron Man Music*** Well I just got back from the movies and take a guess
what I saw? No it wasn't Barbie Destroys the World, ug that would be career suicide too, nope I
saw Iron Man and I will say this. It is in the same category with Spider-Man and X-men movies,
because it was that good, with some great comedy, great action, some emotional parts as well. I
have to saw for the problems Robert Downy Jr. has had in his Hollywood career, I believe Iron Man
and the other movie that is coming out soon, his career is back on track for some great....
Movie Review: No Country For Old Men
(0) Well I pickup this movie the other day or more like on Monday after splurging on some new shoes and
some sandals and what not, and so yesterday I watch this movie and boy I feel sad for missing this
on the theaters. Basically Javier Bardem's character Anton Chigurh (sugar) is what made this
movie. Put it like this we all believe killer's to be insane but I think Anton was actually
sane the whole time during this movie as he killed off most of the main cast, and yes that is a
spoiler since this movie has been out for awhile now. Of course Brolin was big in this....
Saint Michael's Movie Review Corner : Be Kind Rewind
(0) Well it has been awhile since I did a movie review due to school and all that stuff, and with hte
wonderful stress I build up because of it I am glad I went to the movies. Before I get into the
movie I have to mention something that was very freaky, this artist had build a life size old man,
paper mache or maybe something else but, at first look you think it was real because how life like
it was. Also what made it even more convincing was the fact that the lighting to this sculpture hit
it just right you would think Oh My god. Heck while waiting for the movie to start....
Speed Racer
Anime legend hits the big screen courtesy of the creators of The Matri (2) Speed Racer is racing into theaters May 9, 2008. This Warner Bros./Silver Pictures release is
directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski, the writing-directing team behind the groundbreaking Matrix
Trilogy, and stars Emile Hirsch, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, Christina Ricci, Matthew Fox, Kick
Gurry, Scott Porter, Richard Roundtree, Nayo Wallace, and Rain. Hurtling down the track, careening
around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is a natural behind the wheel.
Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His onl....
Movie Review: Cloverfield
(7) Before I get into my movie review I have to say I was a bit upset that hey took out the pinball
machines at the movie theater and no NACHOS AGAIN!!! I had to eat stale junior mints
which I wasn't to please with and twizzler's with a 32 oz. dew as my usual movie snack. Ok
now for the first movie review of 2008, and say this most of the rumors are false and this is a new
monster, and sadly this movie was over-hyped especially in 3rd person view that most of this movie
was in, well ok the whole movie was in. When it did come to the action sequences th....
Rush Hour 3 (dvd Review)
(0) Although the previous two films were awesome, especially number 2, I feel as though Rush Hour 3 was
a bit rushed. Just as the movie was getting interesting last 25-30 minutes it was already over
with, action was ok, but I feel though they just ran through the moves and got it over with. Though
it had its funny moments, like the giant martial arts student, dude had to be at least
6'8"-6'11", the story became obvious especially the major players. Heck I think they just
took Rush Hour 1 change a few characters around ands that it because most of the original cast....
Movie Review: Superbad Is Super Good
(4) Well I thought I try out the movie Superbad, and I have to say I should have seen this in the
theaters. The thing I did notice that its just like American Pie in the sense that a bunch of guys
going to get laid before getting out of high school, but thats where it ends right there. We got
drunk girls, fake ID's, fights, cops, guns, and even 70s music. I say for the most part the
scene's with the cops and Mclovin (fake ID) were the best parts, although I think they went a
bit to far with the man junk jokes went a tad to far but thats me though. Either way this....
Movie Review - Beowulf
by Saint Michael (4) Well I just seen Beowulf and I have to say it was 100 times better then the Christopher Lambert
version, still wondered why I got that movie. Anywoo if you ever read the story to Beowulf you know
are several versions to the story, and from what I saw it seems like a part of the original and
another version. It's hard to tell since its been years since I read the story although I think
this version is like 95% original version from the studio who produced it because of some of the
stuff that happen in this movie. I will state OMG on Angelina Jolie /xd.gif" style="....
Saint Michael Makes A Movie Review Comback With The Movie The Comebacks
(0) Well lets see the last movie review I gave was the Halloween remake since then I haven't seen to
many movies worth watching, and I was running out of cash as well /laugh.gif"
style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />. Well to start off the
movie is about hour and 15 minutes, yeah its a very short movie but it didn''t seem like
that as they packed in a lot of stuff especially with the movies they spoof and interestingly enough
I know most of them, didn't see them but know them. So here is the list of movies that they
sp....
S &m Is More Then Meets The Eye: Transformers Review
TRANSFORMERS IS PURE PERFECTTION (0) All I have to say is, if this movie opened up on the weekend, it would bring in MILLIONS AND I MEAN
MILLIONS of dollars /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0"
alt="laugh.gif" /> They did everything right with this movie, the cast was perfect; even the
lesser known actors and actresses did an excellent job. The voice acting for the transformers was
pure perfection (they had subtitles /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=""
border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />), props to Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus Prime) Hugo Weaving
(Megatro....
Live Free Or Die Hard Review
(1) Well I just got back from seeing the 4th movie of the Die Hard franchise; I would say this movie
franchise has had a good run, wasn't to keen on number Die Hard 2. However, I think everyone
felt the same way as I did when I watch it. I would have had this review up sooner, but I had this
nasty headache I needed to get rid of, and so here I am /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle"
emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Well to start off I would say this is the first movie
that really toned down on the violence and swearing in the sense that if you compar....
Evan Almighty Review
(3) Today, I went to the movies with my best friend Monica. We saw Evan Almighty. First of all, it
spoofed the story of Noah. I find it more entertaining than Bruce Almighty. I also find it more
family friendly than Bruce Almighty was too. There was a lot less language in it. The acting was a
lot different too. Steve Carrel is a lot more impulsive it seems than the guy who played Bruce.
Morgan Freeman was excellent in this movie too. The special effects were okay, but I found them to
be a little bit on the cheesy side, but it must have taken a very long time to do all of....
Spider-man Trilogy Review By S & M
(4) I just got back from seeing Spider-Man 3 and I put it like this, spider-Man 1 and 2 and if it
happens 4 will never beat this movie, but I discuss more about it as I review all three movies.
Spider-Man I would say I was a big spider man fan I saw a few reruns of the old tv show back
in the day and then when I caught the spider man cartoon on fox I like it up till the very end as
Mary Jane watson would disappear from existence and then we get that crappy spider man in the future
series. Let's time skip to the first movie which in which we start from the beg....
S & M Movie Review Corner: Grindhouse
None spoilers (1) Well I just got back from the movies about 10 minutes ago and I just saw Grindhouse Which was
directed by Robert Rodriguez (Planet of Terror) and Quentin Tarantino (Death Proof) including a
all-star cast of some great actors who made cameo's and even starred in other movies by this two
great directors. We have Danny Trejo (Bartender from Dusk Till Dawn Trilogy), Bruce Willis (Die
Hard Trilogy), Tom Savini (Dust to Dawn, Dawn of the Dead Series,) Rose McGowen (Black Dahlia, Ready
to Rumble), and even Fergie makes a cameo to just name a few of the all star cast. As w....
"blades Of Glory" My Truthful Review!
Might have a few spoilers, be warned! (6) Hey everyone! Just got in from the cinema after watching Blades of Glory and despite my
negative thoughts beforehand it is a very good film. The basic storyline is two very good male
figure skaters end up in a brawl after they draw at the championships, they then loose their medals
and are banned from male figure skating for life. But a rather obsessive fan finds a loophole
allowing them to skate as a pair, and they soon end up as the first male pair to ever compete.
Jimmy's camp-ness is the main source of the comedy in the film while his more Tom Jones like ....
The Grudge 2 Review
5 out 5 (4) Just got back from the movies and I just saw the Grudge 2, the sequel to the Grudge and and the
American version of Ju-on. All I have to say is WOW!!!! /laugh.gif"
style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Without given away to
much this movie surpasses even the first one and the japanese version although I don't recollect
seeing the Ju-on 2 might have to look that up. Although if anyone has seen all 5 movies of Ringu
(Japanese Version of the Ring) They might turn it into a virus or something. Spoiler at your own....
Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy (moviereview)
film-review (4) I did not find any forums for film/movie, so I thought tihis would be the closest. I wrote it for my
final-exame. Here you have my review of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that took me around 3
weeks to write. It's kinda long and it contains spoilers, so if you don't want to know
asbout the movie, stop read now! QUOTE "Let's start by establishing a few basics. The
only two things that matter when judging this film are 'Is it a good movie?' and 'Is it
a good version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?' One thing which is ....
[+]saint-michael's Movie Review[+]
Exorcism of Emily Rose (10) Well i just got from one of the greatest suspense movies i have seen in a long time, well since i
saw skeleton key which was sweet as well. Just to give you an idea of what the movie is based off
of here is an excerpt of the true story of Emily Rose ( Real Name Anneliese Michel) QUOTE From
her birth on the 21st of September, 1952, Anneliese Michel enjoyed the life of a normal, religiously
nurtured young girl. Without warning, her life changed on a day in 1968 when she began shaking and
found she was unable to control her body. She could not call out for her parents....
