I just recently got hosted with trap17. From my site niclbee , I uploaded all the folders from my computer using WS_FTP. The exact files and folders are there, but my site only contains some images. Take a look and you'll see what I mean.

try looking at the actual codgin of the page and the filenames of the images in relation to the file images of them in the page....eg:

if in the page code you had a backgorund called back.gif but in the folder its called bac.gif then the backgorund wont show as the file can not be found.

test for this and see if it fixes it

see, thats the thing, I know the code is right. Because it works on my computer, it's just when I uploaded it.

my site is the same and i have gone back to my old host why and try and do it and i have check all my codes they are all ok just the images are not comeing up HELP

Did you go through the whole thing and make sure the src is exactly the same documentation as your uploaded files?

you seem to have missed to upload your logo.gif, that's what appears as a blank image from your index page.


gives a 404 not found error. just re-upload the file.

i didn't check your other pages so if same error occurs, you just missed uploading some of your images.

is it case sensitive?

ok guys, I got it figured out.

On my computer, the files aren't case sensitive. But on the server, they are.

this wouldn't work:


if the file name was: image.gif
