Single Topic For Netbux Referrals - Since so many people create new topics for referrals

icemarle
I've seen too many Netbux topics and it's driving me nuts. Newly registered people post a new topic and shove referral links into our faces. Maybe there should be a single pinned topic for people who want to advertise their referral links.

I've seen many people make a new Netbux topic, say what it does, and shove their link.

I suggest that the topic will be about people stating why you should use their referral link. Plus, in a single topic, the people won't have to be persistent and make you want to use their referral link LESS. Those Netbux-Referral link topics are flooding the forum, so

Please think about my plea...
With quality posts, the forum will be a better place!

Thank you for reading,

Can't do that. You cannot put referral links in your post. Referral links in your sig is fine, but it's against the rules to post it: http://www.trap17.com/forums/trap17-file-no-5769.html

Search that page for "referral".

  3. [suggestion] Allow Users To Delete Their Own Topic - Possibly only if there are no replies (4)
I've had the following happen to me twice within the past few days: I struggle with a problem
for three or four hours. Eventually I give in and post asking for help. While I wait for the help
I continue working on the problem. An hour or two down the road I figure out the issue on my own.
As such, I no longer need the topic I created. I'd like to delete it so as not to waste
people's time (and clutter up the sub forum), but I don't have the privileges to do so.
Being able to delete your own topics would allow users to self moderate, and cut down on...
  4. Icon In Replied Topics - (0)
I just noticed while browsing thru some subforums here in trap that the icons for the threads
don't specify if I have made posts on the thread. I've been to other forums and they have
customized icons for threads like if a thread is locked, active (hot topic) or if you have posted
something there. I know some of you would think this wouldn't be necessary but I think it's
important especially to prevent double-posting on threads, repeating threads and stuff. That's
just my observation anyway. What do you think?...
  5. A "save As Draft" Button - saving your topics or posts for later editing (13)
i realized while typing earlier i had the urge to find a "save as draft" button. i guess i was so
fixated with my blog. but anyway, my point is what if the forum was to include this feature so
whatever you write, you could save them for posting later on. i was thinking maybe some people would
have some stuff to do and they have to shut down the computer (not everyone can leave their computer
on, and that would be a waste of energy), but they have already written their topics/posts.
moreover, some people would have second thoughts in posting their topics so they could sav...
  6. Great Idea For Trap17hosting. Eassy To Setup Yust 1 Topic For It. - (6)
Hello gy's I was googling my links today, because my php forum told me google had visit. And
gues what it found me true trap17 forum. I think it woud be usefull for creating a topic for your
links. Yust post them in there and update your post everytime. Trap17 gives users a way for posting
there links on google and other serch machines, and that way inproving the service really a lot. For
users that don't get serch submission they can do this. And you can help them get visitors to
there forum. Woud be great if you accept this idea. proof: http://www.google.nl/...
  7. Why Are There Errors? - Why are there errors in some topics I post? (2)
Why is it that when I view some of my posts it says error? Cant these topics by me be viewed by
other users? I was wondering if this error is on the database of trap17.com forums. Ive had this
problem also in my WAP community site some months ago. It was due to the quotes and double quotes
people post. But Im not sure what is the problem in here. Invision Power Board should have fixed
this bug before. What do you think?...
  8. Topic Subscription Suggestions - (4)
I don't know about other people, but when i choose to subscribe to a topic I always choose the
same exact method of notification (in my case, none at all). It'd be rather nice to have an
option to set a predefined choice in order to cut down on all the needless repitition. Certainly not
a huge problem, but it'd be nice. It'd also be nice if the topics you subscribed to were
listed on the mainpage of the control panel. It already lists recently viewed posts (which is kinda
pointless in my humble opinion), so why not add that as well? Thankyou for you...

  11. Latest Topics - that can't be viewed (1)
I have noticed there are numerous topics that can't be viewed by normal forum users. These
topics would include sig requests that must be approved by a mod and topics for mods themselves.
Even though these topics can't be read by normal forums users, they still appear on the latest
topic and post lists at the bottom of every page. I think it would make more sense to stop them
from being visible in the list if the user viewing the list doesn't not have the required access
to view the post itself. Many times I have tried open a topic from the lists only to be...

  13. Too deep - forum topics (6)
i like the old forum order before better than the current one. currently, one has to dig deep to

am just on dialup with limited online time, i would like to save on the number of links i have to
