I have a question..that for example i have made a website, which has many pages.It is still save on my hard diskI havent uploaded it on internet..Now i want to put Google Ads on it.So should i register for google adsense before i upload it , or first i should upload my site, so thta google will confirm my site existance and then i will again have to put ads in it and upload it again? I hope you can understand my question?
Other thing, you guys can suggest me please if there is any other trusting company like google adsense , which gives reasonable money.And last thing that, which option i should choose in google adsense..I mean, CPM or CPA ?Thanks. |

FIRST UPLOAD SITE ! Google will never gave you adsense if you dont have site, or even if you have but noone is visiting it. So better upload it make it run for some time, get some hits.... then ask google for adsense.

Like SqlByte said upload the site first. I wouldn't even put the google ads on the site until you start getting more traffic. Google will see that you get maybe 10 hits a day and then all of a sudden a week or two later you will have 200 hits a day and they will believe you have bots or something clicking on your ads. Get your site moving first and then put them up.

You should have your site uploaded first. When you apply for Google adsense you have to submit your site URL to Google so they can evaluate if your site has good enough content for people to visit. Business sites most of the time gets approved easily but personal sites they have to check for traffic and content.

Google adsense is definitely one of the most trusted advertising programs around. The only negative I know of is that a rival buisness can deliberately generate invalid clicks and get your account suspended, and I do not know of any advertising service that comes without this particular downside. As to your site, looks like you don't have an adsense account yet. It is not possible to get an adsense account without a fully functional website, so upload first. Even after getting an account, if you ever need to test what the ads look like on your site, make sure you modify the javascript by adding the line google-test="on" and changing the ad-client value to "ca-test". That way, you don't get paid for clicks and it's useful for testing. I'm not sure if this is the exact modification, please verify on the adsense site first.

Google will need to verify your site before they can approve your application. That means that you have to have a site that corresponds with the Google Policies, Terms and Conditions, and follow some of the recommended webmaster tips that provide. It is actually really easy to get approved, after you upload your site.

You can apply for adsense now but I recommend that you put the ads on your site a while later so that byou get enough time to understand and analyse your page hit stats and referrers.

No Site Access
(4) It was working the day before yesterday and then it started giving me error messages about not being
able to access the site. I can't access cpanel either. Neither page ever loads. I don't
have this problem with any other internet pages, just my site stuff on Trap17. My site's at
www.jzambrano.trap17.com btw. This is one of the few times I'll need it up for sure so I'd
appreciate if the issue can get fixed in the near future. ....

Can't Access My Site....weird Issue
(5) Okay, so last night everything worked fine. I loaded up cpanel, fixed issues with the site after the
database move, etc. Today I'm unable to load up the site. It just keeps giving me ping
timeouts. With what I'm being told by others it is only me having this issue with my site, and
yet there have been 0 changes to my pc between it working and not. I have tried multiple times
during the day with no luck. Along with this, if I load my website using a proxy service then I do
not have any issues. The only time it will not allow me to access it is if I am "using" my....

Increase Upload Limit
(5) I had this setting done before, but I replaced the file and need to know how to do it again. That
is, increasing the max upload limit. It currently is set to 2mb(on my forum for uploading), and I
would like to increase it. I think that the limit is software related and not host related. How

Where Does That Noise Come From?
My Trap 17 web site beeps (6) I am posting this here rather than in the 'Web design' topic as it seems to be something
which happens exclusively to my Trap 17 web site. When i have my web site open, which you can find
here , every so often (quite regular actually) a short and high pitched beep is sounded. At first I
thought it had something to do with my sound card or my PC, but recently I discovered it only
happens when I have my site open. It does not matter which page of the site I have open, or whether

Site Down After Server Transfer

Site Back Online, But....
Works on anyone's machine but mine. (20) I got a reply from Xisto today that my site was up and running again. Yet, when I surf to it, it
will not load, also, my email client keeps telling me the POP3 server (the one related to my domain)
timed out. My Cpanel will not open neither. On my son's laptop (on the same network, hence same
IP address) the site loads immediately. Has anyone got any idea what the problem my end could be?

Some Pages On My Site Won't Even Load..
(6) Ever since today, my site has been working just fine. I'm maintaining the amount of points I
need, and the server status has been and still is fine. However, a while ago I tried to access my
site and it wasn't loading. When I loaded the root URL, it worked fine though. I went to the
file manager and noticed that the file I was trying to previously access was .php, and the index
file at my root URL was .html. I deleted the index.html file and made a index.php file, then tried

(14) Ok so i was going through my email inbox, and i received a very scary email from my old host,
starszz.com saying of this really dangerous thing going around with cutenews users.. ok let me
summarize it hackers somehow found a way to hack your site by accesing your search.php file on your
cutenews directory i googled into it, and there is a couple of Big sites that were hacked, and its
adviced for you to delete the search.php file of your cutenews directory immediately, i dont know
how this can be done, but imjust warning you i deleted my search.php file just in case....

Strange Site Problems
(2) This morning i ran out of credits, but I immediately got them back up to 7. All day I've been
trying my site, and it keeps timing out, and on the odd occasion comes up with a MySQL error. I was
just able to login to my cpanel, and my space usage was 550mb. Yesterday is was approximately 256mb,
and i didnt upload anything. I had to delete files to get it back down to 470, but I cant find what

upload it into the "public_html" folder. So I do that, or do I just upload it into the root
