google earth is a cool awsome program. because is is a satelitte and you move the mouse to look at were you like to look at and it's true i saw my house.
it's cool i have a small house from look ing down at earth. hope you love it
you could see cafe's ,schools, police sations, and you could have it as 3d mode i looked a mt. everest it's TALL and cool
That's crazy, google is keeping up with all kinds of different services. I have used world wind(Nasa's version) and some other program that I can't remember. They all do basically the same thing though.

No Google earth wont cost you even a single penny if you download the free version but there is a charge for the pro version of google earth.
I think if you want to check how this program works then you can download the free version and if any money making idea clicks in your mind after having a look at it then go for the pro version.
I tried it a while ago. Trust me, it really does blow you away. Even some of the things the free version has was just mind-boggling. The only downside is that does require a lot of memory..so on a new computer it works just fine.
I used WorldWind only a month ago because it's far more better and advanced then GoogleEarth but sincethe arival of the third version of GoogleEarth I've changed my mind.With the last edition you get over a hundred new high-resolution locations which are not supported in WorldWind.
EDIT: Damn, why there isn't an EDIT button :/.I've just remembered something.Does anyone know why there aren't no people? I mean, if you search the Earth with GoogleEarth you can find veichles and even animals but there are no human beings.What's up with that? Did they remove people for some unknown reason or what? I mean, I've searched the whole Los Angeles (which has the higest resolution images) and I couldn't see a man in the city.

Actually...A week or two ago I heard people talking on the news about google earth. The president (Prime minister?) of Russia was complaining saying that theives used google earth because it was really good. And if you do go to Moscow, which I think is a city taken the best pictures of...You can see that it's much better..Like Hi Def
Anyway...The quality depends much on the area...And I think that if the area is taken in black and white then it has better quality, overall...?
hahah! Whoa, that's crazy! Makes you think doesn't it. Like if you were looking at the Earth, your work/school/or yourself magnified (by a gazillion times), would be the size of this here dot . and you still couldn't see it clearly.
Makes me feel small. Amazing what technology can do, eh?
Yes, Google can do some wonders now. Google Earth is awesome because you see a satelite view of the world through a program. I would reccomend everybody to download this. It gives you something cool to look at when you are bored. I am having fun playing around with this program. I heard this is a view from year 2000 so there is some old stuff. Try looking for some sky scrapers. They look weird. The Pentagon in Washington D.C. is unique on Google Earth also.
i have tried it. I is so cool, you can practacally locate everything. I also checked it with my house and could see the exact spot. If you havent tried it you really should just to see how accurate it is.
I thought this was pretty cool when I first downloaded it but after a short period of time it not only got old but got creepy. This is wierd that sattellites can see me in my back yard if I am outside when the satellite updates it's images. This is wierd. It makes me wonder what else the people at Area51 have if Google can get it's hands on something like this. Although it has been pretty helpful for geography quizes and tests. I don't think that it is actually worth it to have for everyday use, but it is one of those prgrams that you may just want to keep if you are still in school, or are just easily amused by looking at pictures of the Earth. And in that case this program will be like a blessing to you, because not only is it free, but it has some wicked details. You can even pan the camera to where it almost looks like the pictures of the Earth are 3-D until you realize that it is just a seamless picture of one big image.
I am just wondering if anyone has got the Plus version. I want to know whether its worth paying the
extra $20 - and what extras you get for upgrading Naming the topic title is VERY important.

I have read somewhere that with the launch of Google Earth small communities have started to appear
talking about all kinds of stuff. I've even read that there are a few communities on the Aria 51
subject and I was wondering if any of you knew the coordonates of Area 51. I tried to Google that
but I couldn't find anything. It would be interesting to see the quality of the photos......
Well while i was exploring the area near the colorado river ( i think!) i kinda saw a long line
of arabic language all over the map stretching all over the place has anyone seen this things? also
i saw this arabic lines near North Korea at the mountanious ( forgot how to spell it) area. Has
anyone seen the lines anywhere else There's also a crop circle on one of the USA maps if you
look closely enough...

Hey, I downloaded Google earth but my city Giresun on the map. I'm from Turkey by the way!
But I live in America... so, anyone can tell me why I can't see my city or my old city......
i wonder if you can accsess Google Earth offline i dont think you can but could you i think the
cache files on your computer from when you have looked at Google Earth will show i really wanna know

alright, the best thing is that it's free. You can see some people's houses, like in nyc,
but you can also see landmarks, big cities, landscapes, and it's all woven together really well.
I always like google's stuff You can eaven see forgen countries, and it streams all this info
off the net to save hard drive space. I would definately check this out if you are reading this....
I know this isnt technically google earth but it is google maps. Click Its an online map of a
part of mars. You can look at it with infared, as a photograph, or look at the elevation. Google
moon I also found this. Its a map of the moon, much the same as above. Terciel...
I just found myself in this area of the forums for the very first time in my stay here with
trap17... at least i think.... but i was supprized that one of the google services subfoums, that i
was sure to be there, wasnt there! Google sketchup. I don't know how popular it is yet,
but it's a free 3d modeling program by google. After modeling you can dump your models into
google earth (thats why i put this topic here), and share your buildings with the world!

Well a while back there was a bunch of talk on area 51, and how it is a secret location and all
that. They say it contains aliens (I doubt that). They say all types of mumbo jumbo, I think its all
for show. I typed Are 51 in on the google earth and it zoomed in on it. Turns out Area 51 is just a
flight training sort of thing. So don't listen to the alien crap!!...
Google launched a new service wow 'Street View' now you can walk on the streets with google
at this moment Street view available in New York; Miami; Denver; Las Vigas and San Fransisco .. give

I installed Sabayon linux from a dvd I got free with a magazine and guess what? It had Google Earth
preinstalled. And I was thinking that google was not supporting linux (with there being no gtalk or
picasa).Google earth actually worked better in sabayon than in windows I don't know why....
Download the two programs Google Earth and the Microsoft Version (I couldn't find what they name

the Macintosh Headquarters in America on Google you will see that the building is there but if you
try to find it on the Microsoft version you will not have much luck as they have covered it over

I have had Google Earth installed since before the summer, and feel that everyone who has Windows
2000 or XP should download it. The program is really worth the bandwidth it uses. A 3D view of the
Earth, the various layers, and the bookmarks put it all together. I just wish the pictures could be
a little more hi-resolution....
does anyone have any information when google plans to update? There are parts that i have seen that
are over 3 years old, i mean i know its the whole world, but if they constantly updated parts it
wouldnt be a big deal, i heard from another forum that they are going to reset the whole world next
year....

Hi, Google has gone one step forward with it's mapping service and started www.WikiMapia.org.
All of us must be knowing what a "wiki" is. Anyway it's a public repository of knowledge where
users are allowed to change/modify it as per their wish. For a better description you can go to
www.wikipedia.org. Back to wikimapia, it's a real wiki in the sense all the map
details(locations ofcourse) can be changed as per your wish.So you can just put a caption for " my
sweet home" on your building(if visible though) and send the link to anyone else who needs the navi...

like a 2 year old picture but its cool because you can zoom to like your house or school etc. and

i find google earth the best mapping program ever because it shows everything in 3d and you can zoom
in and out right down to the last detail its amazing. This post is a good example of how to post
"SPAM" in good forums. It is voilating most of the imp. rules of the board. 1. Topic title was not
