nop, lockers suck - cuz if u need a textbook or something to bring home, and if u ride ur bike/walk home thats a pain in the ass w/o a backpack

all schools should have lockers. at my school we have to share with only one other person but the locker is huge its 7foot tall and almost a foot wide!

I am from CA and it is a PIAN to carry my backpack around all day, including lunch. No wonder my back is always in pain. Gray Davis just had to go and get us in debt, reduce school funds, and leave us with no lockers. Darn granola-sucker.

I agree with no however because my highschool (er i dunno what that is for you guys) tried the locker thing and they (the idiotic bams we call Neds- Non Educated Delinquent) stole all the padlocks off them and kicked them in for fun *might add the lockers and the kids who had them in here*...
its fine to assume that most kids would appriciate a locker and would look after it but in reality you cant help the fact that you always have the kids that just want to destroy and burn anything within a 2 mile radius of themselves.
Tard's are one thing i like to call them.
Age Group C...but not an old man :wink:

6th Grade Graduation
(4) I know most people are older than 13 here but I am graduating Sixth Grade here in June. I realize
that is is a long ways away, yet, I need help... What is it like? Is it like being stalked? I mean,

Schools Checking Myspaces

Public Schools With Internet Security?
(7) Well, today I learned in my school (I'm in 9th grade) that the network has no security at all.
Most public schools, as I have learned, don't protect themselves, they hire somebody when
something goes wrong. I believe this is truly wrong. I was in the Computer Lab doing an important
test over the Net, and the internet go shutdown. Apparently somebody hacked it. They didn't have
access to it until they called the Network Security guy down to fix it. This is pretty bad. What do

Football Team?
Anyone on there schools? (1) Anyone other than me on their schools football team? I'm in grade ten and I was (seasons done
now) the Offensive Left Tackle... although the o-line shuffled positions quite a bit. We made it to
the play-offs, but we lost in the first round to the team that we played at the beginning of the
season, and we lost with the same score.... it sucked but it was fun... I'm debating whether or
not to play again next year, I have mixed feelings about it right now... I was continually getting

Windows Vista And Its Problems
Seems like a down-grade to me. (21) Recently I purchased an Emachines computer with Windows Vista installed. I thought "the newer the
better." I was horribly wrong. Once I got it, it took an hour or two just to get the thing
started and updated. Then it had tons of start-up files on it that I had to shut off with the
msconfig file. Once that was over, I went to check the games that were pre-installed from a
comany called WildCoins. I played Diner Dash and got addicted to soon find out that after two free
plays, you have to pay to play or play online. That was upsetting since I couldn't get in....
No More Private Schools
(16) After thinking about it for a while, I realized that don't like private schools. If kids have
more money and the parents are willing to pay it, they can get a better education and more personal
help. It seems unfair to the kids that cannot afford to pay the money to go to a private school, yet

How can I create a proxy on my website to bypass my schools internet f (0) My highschools internet is all filtered from accessing webistes such as games porn etc. In the past
i have managed to overcome this by accessing a proxy on numerous websites. This involves going to
this website then entering the desired blocked website into a input box. Then that website transfers
me to the blocked website via this webiste. At least this is how i think it works.... How can I add
something similar to this on a website of my own?....

system. My Biology teacher was going to school for his masters, and a lot of what they did in
some of his classes involved tweaking and bettering schools. One of the best ideas I'd heard was
groupind high school students into areas of interest. Every student would take the normal required
classes, with the same choice of electives, but they would be grouped into classrooms with other
kids who shared similar interests; whether they be in science, math, philosophy, etc. ....
Survived 9th Grade
Sooo hard at first, then got easier (12) It's now June, and yesterday was my last day of school (well, the last real day, Regents days
and the graduation ceremony don't count). I managed to survive this whole year, and learned how
to do a ton of homework in short periods of time in the process. It was a difficult year for me, but
I survived. I'm looking forward as well as being anxious for what's going to happen next

Macbook Graphics Down Grade
(0) some news for the mac fans There is a rumor going around on the web that the new macbook has a
graphics down grade from its old g4 brother. some of you might be thinking i am just talking crap,
but it looks like that the new macbook has its graphics capabilities somewhat intergrated with the

My Schools Computer Network
(1) ok so its like this: the ICT technicians at my school are complete idiots, once last year at
beginning of year 10 i managed to open up a program on the server that allows teachers to control
the users in the same classroom, well i managed to get access to this program and had some fun with
it, ever since then the technicians have banned me from the computers on the network, occassionally
allowing me back on the computers only to ban me a few days later, well the last time i got banned

Writing < Typing, Schools Need To Impliment A New System
(11) Schools have been making people write things down and write essays on lined paper and all that jazz
for years and I want to put an end to it. If laptops and computers would be allowed in schools to be
worked on, the productivity and grades would higher significantly. I say this because... 1.
Students are usually faster typers and even if they are not they can still easily read everything.
2. Lined paper is easy torn or ruined, unlike computer data, usually. 3. Students could access
