Let's get this category started  I am looking to purchase a domain and become a paying customer of Computing Host. I do have some questions though. Firstly, I am looking to purchase one of the cheaper plans, one that runs for $29 a year. The question is is it possible to upgrade your plan, and in addition, can you upgrade your plan on mulitple occassions? I don't want to buy space and bandwidth I'll never use, and my forum is young and growing. How fast will my website grow after I switch to Computing Host?, I don't know, but I want to buy what I need now, and if I need more, which might be the case, upgrade to suit my needs. Secondly, can a Trap17 account be automatically transferred to my new Computing Host account? Can my files and databases be automatically switched to my new cpanel? The one thing I've yet to learn how to do is use FTP, for one thing I've never had to use it. Just a few questions to help me out and others who may be interested in Computing Hosts' services. elevenmil

Yes to everything. You can go on upgrading and upgrading.. they are free. You don't lose any cash and 95% of it will be adjusted back. So, its not like, you still have 5 months remaining, and after upgrade, we cancel them out. You get back all the unused. We think for and by the customers, so in any case, we make sure you are happy.

I have a lot of files in my Trap17 account, (140mb) that I would need to upload to Computinghost. Is it possible for you to do a server to server transfer? Being I am on a dial-up connection it would save me a huge amount of time.

$14.95 a month. Is the domain free even if I choose to pay monthly? Will the prices ever
change; Will they go up or down? Are the servers faster/more reliable than Trap17? (trap17 is a good
service, just wondering if quality increases with payment) Is the activation immediate? *edit.. new
question: If I go over the bandwidth limit, does my site show an error until next month, or do I get
charged with fees. And can I upgrade bandwidth/space if I need to in future? ....

Few Questions (1) I am looking at Plan 7S. I plan on hosting a download database, and since I am paying for the
bandwidth I don't see how this can cause any red flags with the terms or conditions. i plan to
host content that is copyrighted however may be used personally (non-commercially). Will this

About Extra BW, Content Supported and MySQL Space (2) Ok I currently am using another free host. And I need to make a move quick. I was thinking of going
with company x which offers 250GB of bandwidth, and 5GB of storage for the low 2.99/month. But I ran
across computinghost. I like the fact that I can have unmetered email, mysql databases and such not
offered with company x. My first ? is what is the size limit of the mysql databases? or is there a
limit? Also on the bandwidth how much is it extra if I go over? Another thing, many sites now days
