| | I'm interested in learning about other country's lives in schools! Here in the Philippines, we go to school (at least high school) from around 7:00 AM to 4-5:00 PM. We don't change classrooms; the teachers do. I've been to two schools before, actually. One had mixed Chinese and English classes, while the other one had English for the morning and Chinese in the afternoon. The previous one, we didn't have any lockers. We just brought a box to school and that's where we keep our books. In my second school, we have lockers.
Well that's as much info as I can think of about high schools in the Philippines!

our school starts at 8.30 AM and stops: or 14.20 or 15.10 PM not really much lessons:P 6 or 7 lessons a day

Well my school used to start at 700 and end at 1330. and it was a total fun ..  .. First school: PAF shahin school Karachi ( KG) Second School : PAf Model Scool Korangi Creek ( Prep to 4rth class) Third School: PAF Intermediate college Chacklala (4th class to 6th class) Fourth school: PAF intermediate college Lahore( 6th class to matriculation) Fifth School=College: FC College Lahore ( Fsc PreEngineering) Sixth University(ahem): University of Engg and Technology Lahore ( BE industrial an dmanufacturing)..

In Singapore here, lessons start at 8 am but you have to be in school by at least 7.15. Depending on the days, we usually end lessons at 1.30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2.05 pm on Mondays and 12.30 pm on Fridays. School is tough here. Altough it may seem that school is short, the school always have thei evil schemes to make you stay back, for example remedials, projects, detention and loads of other crap. Lessons are long and boring. Schools are divided in to Primary Schools. After graduating from Primary school, you will enter Secondary School. From Secondary school, you will have 3 choices. You can go to the: 1)Polytechnic 2)Junior College 3)ITE(Insitute of Technical Education) After that, you can either quit school and start working or go to the University. Oh ya, males have to enter compulsory National Service at the age of 18 for 2 years....

In the USA, we normaly start school at around 7 AM, and normaly get off around 3 PM, we change rooms, we have small lockers, well the sophmores did at least, but im a junior now, lol

In Argentine the University works all day and the school works 7:30 - 13:00. For the University i have to study allllll day because is too much for learn... I go to the University of 19:00 to 23:00.

in malaysia ,we learn from 7.30 a.m to 1.30p.m every Monday to Friday.our school has computer room,stadium and more system.

In the Philippines, (it could just be my school) The class starts at 6:30 AM, we have assemblies at 6:30-6:00, we have breaks from 9:00-9:30, and 12:00-1:00. Classes end at 4:00, unless there's a special assembly or you're doing extra-curicular activities.

Whe I was is India, The School Starts at 9:00am and finishes at 02:30pm (that is for the primary), but In Secondary in India the School startes at 07:00am and finishes at 03:30pm, thats a huge difference But yeah, i left India before i went into Secondary, YAY , So yeah thats Australia and India, I would like to know about other schools too.

Here in California we have school from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, but for me...I have extra classes in the morning and afternoon. So I have school from 7:15AM to 6:00 PM. I'm taking 9 classes this year and everybody thinks I'm crazy.

well here in mexico i go to school from 7:30 am to 1:50 pm.. mondays to fridays we have a computer rooms, but we dont have lockers u__u.. at least not in my school.. the subjects that we have are: + spanish (grammar and those things) + foreign language (english or french im in french  ) + math + chemistry + Biology + P.E. + Computation O_oU err... i think that's not right but meh we have computer class + Arts + Dance or Music lessons + Religion (im in a nun school  ) + Economy + Physic o.o and those are the subjects that im taking now.. the next semester (? it seems i like to create new words  ..right? ) the subjects will change o.o

In Germany school starts at 8:00 am and ends at 1:30 pm. We have two breaks, about 25 minutes in length. In secondary school (grammar school) We have: mother tongue English math Latin/French (You have the choice) - Physics Chemnistry Biology Geography Arts/Music (Got The Choice) History Politics (Goverment) Sports Religious Education

World Of Warcraft And Vista With Choppy Frame Rates
(2) I am simply irate as to not knowing why this is happening. My friend is running Vista Home Basic.
Apparently it was working well until I touched the machine and optimized Vista, disabling services
that she didn't need and turning off the eye candy that would slow the machine down. (It's a
Dell Inspiron 1501, by the way.) Now when she runs World of Warcraft in her usual windowed mode, it
exhibits very choppy frame rates... as in that it pauses/becomes unresponsive every second. However,
when she maximizes the windowed mode it runs perfectly fine. I have not tried....

A World Without A Religion?
(286) A world without religion? I was thinking about it and thought, you know, i think
it would be better. Here are my reasons. The biggest change in the world would be less wars. Think
about it. Most wars are start because of religion. One of the reasons people came to America back in
