Can someone please give me a link to the runescape 2 website. Umm. Well just go to http://www.runescape.com and from there go to create new account (or something like that if you are new) or go to Play existing account (if you already have an account) its not really that hard. its all on the main page. hope this helped, and if you need more just ask.
as i understand it the version of RS avaliable at the RS site is RS2 as the previous version was RS classic which was taken down a long long time ago and was avaliable for a short time for registered paying members, check out RS on wikipedia, im sure you can find a link from google. Im pretty sure that what ive said is right but wiki will have the history of the game and will say something like "the current version of RS, RSX, started in... blah blah"
The current game on the runescape website is Runescape 2. They made runescape 2 the official runescape game a couple years ago and turned the old runescape into runescape classic which you can no longer create accounts for due to cheating and stuff like that, but old players of runescape classic can still play. There is only one version of runescape these days and it's runescape 2, there is no special runescape to play anymore.
www.runescape.com is the runescape 2 website. there used to be an older version (the first version) which is now referred to as rsc, or runescape classic.
i see you're a little confused the new runescape is www.runescape.com and if you wanted to play runescape 1 then you would go here http://www.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runes.../playclassic.ws rs1 is only for veteran players who have played since rs1 been members and continued to play. you can read more on thier website.

History of the Runescape3 myth. Someone with sufficient programming skills that just happened to play runescape(classic) and didn't mind if there accounts were banned heard that runescape2 was coming out so he started spamming a website he, himself made solely for the purpose of phishing*. Another player in the era of runescape2 got the idea that he could do the same thing... but with the runescape3 myth circulating (this was 2004 hahaha) so he created a site setup with a free host and started phishing*.
*Phishing is when someone creates a website claiming to be of another company for the sole purpose of gain.
Why does this have no point coz runescape 2 is worse than normal runescape go on silab client, make an account and for the server, do Ovrlords.No-ip.Org by the way the word overlords is spelt like that on this server...

There is no website just for RuneScape 2, any site other than http://runescape.com asking you to enter your RuneScape password or claiming to be a site from where you can play RuneScape is a scam, you should get off of it immediatly and tell Jagex.

I just finished playing runescape, and I have to say....its no that great. It is not compatible with
56K modems, and it downloads too much stuff onto your computer. The graphics arent very good either.....
