Can someone please give me a link to the runescape 2 website. I want to play runescape 2 but, I don't know the website and if you know the runescape 2 website then, please please please tell meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Umm. Well just go to http://www.runescape.com and from there go to create new account (or something like that if you are new) or go to Play existing account (if you already have an account) its not really that hard. its all on the main page. hope this helped, and if you need more just ask.
as i understand it the version of RS avaliable at the RS site is RS2 as the previous version was RS classic which was taken down a long long time ago and was avaliable for a short time for registered paying members, check out RS on wikipedia, im sure you can find a link from google. Im pretty sure that what ive said is right but wiki will have the history of the game and will say something like "the current version of RS, RSX, started in... blah blah"
The current game on the runescape website is Runescape 2. They made runescape 2 the official runescape game a couple years ago and turned the old runescape into runescape classic which you can no longer create accounts for due to cheating and stuff like that, but old players of runescape classic can still play. There is only one version of runescape these days and it's runescape 2, there is no special runescape to play anymore.
www.runescape.com is the runescape 2 website. there used to be an older version (the first version) which is now referred to as rsc, or runescape classic.
i see you're a little confused the new runescape is www.runescape.com and if you wanted to play runescape 1 then you would go here http://www.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runes.../playclassic.ws rs1 is only for veteran players who have played since rs1 been members and continued to play. you can read more on thier website.

Now when you go on runescape you have a choice of which runescape to go on, one with just coloured backgrounds and scenery - low detail therefore runescape 2 or you can have a high detail with a rocky path grass that actually looks like grass and more detailed scenery. (Runescape 3)

Ok, I'm a 4 year veteran of RS, and basically the way I see it is, runescape 2 is dead. It's been dead since they placed a trade limit, changed the game engine, and got rid of the Wild and made duel arena available to non members. Personally I feel like I've been crapped out of something here. The RS classic players got to keep their version. Personally I think Jagex should release the version WE had before the listed updates above occured. Above and beyond all else there is:

I miss V.2, and apparantly 11,000 paying members did too when they quit. If I was still a paying member, I would post on the forums or at least look for someone who recommended they release V.2 on it's own Link... It's only fair to those who toughed out the rest of this crap so that "the future of runescape would be safe and secure from hackers/real life traders". I can pull names on 3 different hackers ive met in runescape so far, and several hundreds of bots/real world traders...
Long story short, I think a lot of us can agree on this. V.2 is definitly called for.

Well i noticed the overwhelming amount of private servers out there so i thought i'd create
something that would help the players distinguish between them(IE find who's is better). Ive

I just finished playing runescape, and I have to say....its no that great. It is not compatible with
56K modems, and it downloads too much stuff onto your computer. The graphics arent very good either.....
This is a great alt to WOW if you need a Massivly Multiplayer Online Role Play Game, they do have
