Hey all, was told in another thread that it is a good idea to back up a website every day/week.
I'm wondering what the best way to do this is. At the moment my site is using SQL and html
files(The database is just for forums.) So would I just need to ensure I have a current copy of my
.html files on my pc, and go into my database through trap's control panel and export, or is
there a better way? I remember having a lot of issues in the past when it came to transferring
forum databases from one host to another. Also, let's say I take phpbb's database ...

I am using cpanel and WHM, and i want a hosting template. Well i have dreamweaver and photoshop,

After the last batch of hurricanes we lost 5 days of traffic due to power outages in S. Florida.
What I really want to do is redirect a visitor to a copy of the website if the original site takes
more than a set amount of time. If heavy traffic causes the original site to take more than 10
seconds to load I want the visitor automatically redirected to a copy on a different server. Can
this be done somehow? I'm thinking the requests might have to go through a first server that

I have a content website, and the content is very good. I have been doing SEO on my site for four
months. I have had a one-way backlink request success rate of almost 20%, and reciprocal link
request success rate of almost 65%, which I think is very good. However, I want to spend the little
time I get off my university on improving my site, rather than SEO. If I hire someone, or web site

I belong to a WOW guild and we're considering a website for our members. Has anyone any
experience designing and running such a site? For a start, we're only interested in a basic
website for our members so we can show member character stats, announce raids and have a forum so we

Ok this is my idea: I am making a website about anime. Its function is add anime, review anime,

Yesterday i found a way of defacing website without the need to learn programming languages, nor to
explorer vulnerabilities of programs, hardware configuration or operative systems. You can do
whatever you want with any website, deface any website as you like, literaly! But this is not the

I am making a website for a friend, and he has asked me to have it so there needs to be a password
to access it. I'm making the website in Dreamweaver, and its an html website. So I need to know
how i am able to make it so you need a password to view the pages. I thought this wasnt possible
with html pages, because if you know the link you can access any page. There would have to be
