| | I've had a hosting account here at trap17 for a while now, but I haven't put any sites on it until just now. I only had a few little subdomains in use for some testing and stuff. Now I have my site hosted here at trap17. So check it out and tell me what you think. The content may be unfamiliar or even possibly offensive to some. But I'd like you to review the design and function of the site and tell me what you think. Most of the work is pretty old. I need to redesign the whole thing. At least it is XHTML compliant  Also CSS 2.0 I think! LOL. Well, post away and tell me what you think! |

good site..!!! but personally i find it hard to stay in a website with black background and a highly contrasting text colors. If you could do something about it then it will be fine. the whole page is sticking to the top of the browser. try to center it vertically as you did it horizontally. the banner is good. best of luck!!!

Well the black background really goes against my opinion. It was more the users' choice. They wanted it. It used to have a white background with black text. As for the "sticking to the top"... I designed it purposely that way with 0 margin at the top and bottom. You think that's bad?

Hello, Overall it is a nice layout and black is a good color for that paticular web content. White is more of a professional business look black just means its grunge or to mean seriousness. I hope that your site is a success, and hope you find luck with bidvertiser I never did. Well Best Wishes.

Well, you site has a great layout, and site nagivation is great, but I'm not agreeing with the colors. Yes, I see how the colors are like that because of what the sites about, but I consider the colors a little bold. Also, I like what techclave said about the centered look instead of hitting the top but thats just me. So my opinion, great site, great navigation, just missing somewhere with the look but other then that, its coming togther nicely. Just a suggestion, If you know like Flash or Javascript, maybe put a little more interaction in your site. Not just for the people with ADD, lol, but it just adds some style to the site

Awesome website and I like the website. I enjoyed the videos also! The layout is nice and the colors go very well for the theme of the site. Navigation is easy and the forum looks pretty nice. I love the flash that you made for the "Team" link. I can't tell you how to really make it much better because I don't exactly airsoft much (though I do have an airsoft gun!  ). Good luck on it, great images btw (banner and such what). -Jester

thanks guys! I think maybe I will give a 5px margin on top and bottom of the main div now! The colors are the way they are because they are "army" colors - black and gold. Goarmy.com uses the same gold color I think. #ffcc00. Thanks for the input guys!

best of luck!!! The colors work perfectly, well except for the blue, if you look at America's Army website it works with the same theme as well. Since it is a military theme would want to use colors that would be in common with military type sites like black and gold and some grey for good looks. I think this site is more for promotion then public, although they did have a small forum on the site, but that don't make a difference. This is a clean layout with some good idea's, hopefully ithe site will improve over time for that web 2.0 look.

The site looks good and i like the black background and the gold heading text. However, instead of using grey for the text, i would use white. Its just has a better contrast and easier to read. Also, the | between links at the top are hard to see. I would use different colors for them. Besides that it looks good.

Might I remind the posters who posted on this topic today that this member is no longer hosted which means you won't be able to see the site. Also on another note make sure to check the dates of the old topics before posting because the issue or in this case a website could no longer be here, and so if you see one of these topics report them so they can be close so it would be spammed by irrelevant posts.

A fansite for Canadian Actress Zoe Belkin (0) Hi, I know this site is not very artistic but I've created it so that it can be seen on a 28
kbps modem with decent speed. So that it doesn't take a lot of time to load. So I've
designed a template & used it to display page specific content. This helps me to cache the design &
logos and change the [age specific content at a decent rate. I have myself tried to load the pages
with 33 kbps modem and it loads in almost 5 secs for the first time and later for the next pages it
just loads in a flash. Man it's awsome. I didn't think it will work in thios....

question whether I perhaps should change the colors to something less vivid and more neutral like

My New Portfolio Site
need a review if you have time thanks (3) I've always started projects and never finish because I try and do too much but this time I
figured out I really need my own protfolio site when going for a job you need one, people want to
see your work and having it online in one location would be much nicer then having them go to

A short synopsis of my comic book project "Anything Goes" (7) I am currently working on my ongoing comic book and manga project called “Project: Anything Goes”.

My Young Enterprise Company's Site
