How To Turn Invisible
- Techniques and experiences (3)
Ever hear of Spontaneous Human Invisibility ? There are many strange accounts of people who have
suddenly found themselves in situations where they were strangely ignored by everyone around them.
Sometimes they even tried to get attention of their friends who continued acting like they
weren't there, only to go away (e.g. bathroom) and have the friends wondering why they'd
been away for so long when they came back the second time. Sites with stories along those lines

Post Some Wierd Experiences At Night You've Had In Here.
- WIERD!!! (2)
Here are a couple of Experiences I've had at night. I was 2 years old living in British
Columbia, Canada. I lived in a two story house, all of the bedrooms where we slept were upstairs. My
parents told me that I slept in their room in a crib right beside the window, they also said that if
I stood up, I could look outside and see our front door. Not many people remember what happened when
they were at the age of 2, but this is one very vivid memory that I have yet to forget. It was late
at night and I had just awoken from my sleep, I had a tendency not to cry when ...

I was born in New York but raised in WA. In my late teens and early twenties I lived in the south
for a short stint. Now before anyone gets the idea that I am putting any other state down, just
quit. I started this thread to share the differences between places and to give others the
opportunity to share the same. So I lived in Florida for awhile. One of the more confusing things
to be asked was " You ain't from 'round here are ya?" No. How could you tell? "'Cause
you got an accent. Don't worry. It's nothin' to be 'shamed of." Huh?? LOL! ...

Best Sweat Equity Home Improvement Projects
- Please share your DIY experiences (0)
I've been writing DIY articles for publication and on some of my websites. I wanted to link to
some real people's experiences, but an hour of Google searching turned up very little. If any of
you have DIY websites, articles, hints, photos, links, or anything else to share on this topic,
please let me know. What I'm most interested in right now are testimonials about sweat equity
projects. Our own is dramatic, but too general to be of much help to others. We bought a fixer-upper
for $90,000, put $30,000 into it, spent 3 years of hard labor on it, t...

Sansa : Reviews, Experiences Of Sansa Music Player
- sansa (SanDisk) Mp3 Player (6)
Well I got the little mp3 player from some store. I thought it was pretty neat as it was my first
mp3 player. While riding in the car, I glanced over at the sansa while I was listening to it and the
screen cracked right in front of my eyes. I don't know how the heck it happened other than it
must have been cheap plastic. The crack didn't obstruct the screen too badly so I kept using it.
Then after a week, the left ear of the mp3 player stopped working. I tried switching headphones but
it stopped outputting music from the left ear. So, I bought a pair of headphone...
The Kc-135 Stratotanker
- My Experiences (0)
Ok if you are a air re-fueler or something of the like for the armed forces, then you know what i am
talking about. but for those of you who dont, this is what a KC-135 is (and a review according to my
experiences). Ok, to begin, a KC-135 is a large air refueling plane used mainly by the Air National
Guard (US) or maybe by other countries, i am not quite sure. They are large, but not as big as a
C-130 (that is a large cargo plane). The KC-135 is a large refueling plane used for long distance
fueling. Recently, i had the priveledge to ride in one via an organization i am...
Kubuntu 7.04
- A review / my own personal experiences (4)
Many people have been asking me recently about switching to Linux, and a few people still seem to be
unsure what distribution to use. Up until recently I have never hesitated to suggest Kubuntu as the
best starting distribution. However, recently this has not been the case, and I wanted to put down a
review of everything right and wrong with the current version of Kubuntu. What is Kubuntu? For
those that don't know, Kubuntu is a free operating system, based on Linux. It is considered,
by many, to be one of the best distributions (versions) to use for your first ...

Experiences Of Building My Trap17 Website
- Maybe you can learn from other's experiences (8)
1) Application form for free hosting account didn't work, it just sent me to post a new topic.
So I posted I wanted an account, and had no form, so it was denied. Ended up trying the next
morning, same thing happened, no form, so I did what somebody else did, and just copied the info
from another post, and filled it in. Application approved. 2) I had over 100 credits, and asked
for a 10 credit account, so I wouldn't use extra resources until my site was ready to open for
business, as it were. Skipped coming into forum for one day (doing backups, pc maintenance,...
What Do You Think Of E-bay?

you ever had a fight or any self defence experiences? This isn't so that you can show off, but
just to share how you were feeling, what you've learnt and what you did etc. Well, I'll
brake the ice and give an experience I had... I was out in Exeter once when 4 decendents appeared.
I was with my girl friend. We both do several martial arts to the Black Belt Degree so we were well
trained. After the usual mouth that you get from punks like this one pulled out a p...
Internet Telephony - Any Experiences?
- (10)
I was wondering if anybody had any experience with internet telephony or voIP. I've tried Skype
with mixed results, and recently read an article about a number of fairly large companies who have
adopted it as a money saving venture. In the UK BT announced yesterday a new phone service whereby
when you take your phone outside your home it uses the Vodafone network, and when you use it at home
it automatically uses voIP over bradband. Sounds interesting......
