I find the curent structure of the forum to be very confusing and I was wondering if it would be possible to re-build the forum structure. I would like to suggest this structure myself.

I am aware that Trap 17 Forums cant cater for everyones needs. But it would be nice to see a few new sections around Is there even the slightest chance that this could happen in the future at all?
I would even be willing to give my time in helping in a new area if you liked. But that would be up to you guys. I am around alot more now. Since having family issues and being released from hospital. So I have a lot of time on my hands to help out with Trap 17 Forums and also keep updating my website til I get it the way I want it.
But some new Forums areas would be great guys and girls
I'm not just talking about more forums, I'm talking about making the whole thing more acessible. Everytime I decide to make a new post I can't find the most aprropriate place to post it.
And less subforums, right now theres a subforum under google for Google Talk and GDS, etc. That would mean we need subforums for firefox, thunderbird, etc.

If a mod wouldn't mind the trouble can someone add a poll to this thread to see if the members want the forum to be re-structured. That would probably show if its necessary or not.
I think, We can use EXTEMELY BROAD section as our top forums.
Eg. Googlaid.com / Googlade.com Domains point to that part of the forums Directly.
So, If the forums grow large, We can have Domains pointing to diffrent sections making things more easier. I am basically more concerned about the people in our community to submit more useful content day by day
I'd like to suggest a freelance coders forum or subforum under Internet. I know a few popular
sites where people go to hire programmers, web designers, etc. I don't like the open bidding
system, though, where coders are bidding down their price so low that they're not going to make
any money for their efforts. Maybe the forum should have a 'minimum wage', flat rates or
payscale that members agree to follow. Maybe we can all contribute to the structure so that it's
a great deal for web designers who could use some help on a project and for designer....
i suggest that the sub-forums such as MISC needs to be more active because no one has posted in it
yet so we need somthing to make inactive sub-forums active. there needs to be a idea to get members
to post in all topics to get more posts going around the forum which allows members to earn credits
for the free web hosting so basically we need s good suggestion so that way everyone will win....

Well I thought I take another crack at this topic now that 2.3 is a stabled Version of IPB. After
combing through invisionize for mods I came up with a list and reason why they should be installed
here on the forums. SOTW Mod With this mod it would help spruce up participation for those who

See, I play the guitar. But, I see a bunch of forums asking about instruments that I think are kind
of in the wrong category. So, I was wondering where the musician thread was. After a while, I came

I think Trap17 's forum should be changed to Simple Machines instead of Invision Power Board ,
Simple Machines is easier to use , simple and quick as well as the quality is better than Invision
Power Board too but that is just what I think. And more , Trap17 should remove those annoying

A suggestion to improve the site search engine function. I wanted to put a link in one of my
recent posts to a tutorial I did on Proper Introductions, so I did a search to find it. "proper
introduction" (without the quotes) in all forums rendered 897 results. Then I did a search for
"+proper +introductions" (again without the quotes) in all forums rendered 13 results, none of which
were my tutorial. So I went to "+proper +introductions" (no quotes again) in just the tutorial
forum and got QUOTE Unfortunately your search didn't return any results. Try....
As you can tell, the trap forums have almost every topic under the sun. The only thing that is
missing is a sports related forum. I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there who want to
talk about tonights game, Barry Bonds on steroids, and about their Fantasy Football team. If you put
up a sports forum, I'm sure it will be a big hit right away because there are very few pople who
don't like sports. Thanks and please consider this.....
why there is no design related forum in trap17.com if we have users who is graphic designer or flash

I love the quick links at the bottom of each site which tell you the most recent posts, ect.
However I think it would be nice to know that forum they are posted in because I have a slow
connection and it is a waist of my time when I see a topic that I can answer and it actualy a
tutorial. Or even if the tutorials could be in a diffrent colour, have an icon or be labled with a
in the link. Also on a related note there are several posts which can't be opened because they
were colsed or in the case of a tutorial were not opened yet and they also waist my time to lo....
Hello, I guess this would be a suggestion, I odnt really know. Well, on your forums when I click
your Trap 17 logo, it send me no where. I think it just refreshed the page. I thoguth it was just a
little script glitch. Then I tried it in Internet Explorer and the logo sent me back to the main
forum index. Is it possible to make it like that in Firefox? This is weird how it doesnt work, it

I could say I am an old member of Trap17.com (I've been a member for over an year) and I can say
Trap17 RULZ. I've tried many free hosting "companies" before finding out about Trap17, but
I'm sure Trap17 is the best. In this year with Trap17 I'm grown from a small personal

You should really add a php forum or a webmasters forum. I would like to talk about php and look at

I think it would be great if we had a form with PDA stuff! There could be a form for downloads,
what programs we have on it, etc. We would have to seperate it into two subgroups: Palm powered, and
Windows powered. Then we'd break it down to versions. It would fit in with the form, sense
it's tech based, and there could be a reviews section just for Palm Pilots and Windows PDAs. I
remember the day I got my PDA, it was am old casio E-25, and I took it everywhere. What do you
think?....
Hello mods and admins. Just want to let you guys know, a religious forum would highly benefit this
forum. People here have many background faiths, and it would be interesting to discuss and debate
different beliefs. As well as making a place where we can post about religion without having to use

This is my idea i think you guys should do, Have a Fourm for sports. Then break it up into this
little idea i came up to but upi can add more or take away. NFL - MLB - NHL - NBA - and ect. Just
a few of what you can do. And if you even want to get more crazy with this you can make it so after
you click that you can select each team like the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Partriots, and

I was thinking mabie there could be a music forum, seperated into subgroups so we could discover new
groups and genres that we like. Pretty much everyone listens to music, so it will probably easy to
start up, especially with more then 5000 members. Also, there's a few free and legal music
download sites out there (ex: music.download.com) so you can also sample/download songs and such.....
Just wondering, but since we already have an Internet forum, what about a webcomic forum? I know
that there are hundreds of webcomics out there, and there are people who read them religiously(I
admit, I fit in that category), so what about creating a webcomics forum, so users can discuss what
their views are on different webcomics?....

I suggest that you make it possible for people to buy credits. The credits should be cheaper than
actual paid hosting. I think this is a good idea becuase users can post their way to getting 10
credits, but to keep their hosting they can buy, say, 100 credits. Then 100 days later they can buy
another 100. I think this will really lead to the success of this forum. Hope I helped.....
There are some things on the http://www.astahost.com forum that I would like to post to, and just
might get an account to, there are also some intresting threds, that I would like to have continous
activity in, (IE hosting credit goes up). I was wondering if there could be some sort of merger of
credits, or if there was a place I could request a transfer of credits. (Or I guess, one could be

In the computer program languages section there's everything. C+/C++, PHP, CGI, JSCRIPT, VB. But
there's no ASP. Are us ASP developers meant to put our queries in the VB and JSCRIPT? It would
