Why is the Qupis advert along the top of all the pages??

Any way this can be moved to the bottom as they should be?

Also how do I go about also listing http://bar-twist.co.uk to the same site as the www.bar-twist.co.uk?

Can you tell I am new at this

Also a note for the admin team - perhaps when you email new host customers with their account details, you should tell them that when they upload their web site so Qupis to make sure they upload to the /public_html directory??

Took me a while to figure out why the heck I could not see my web site

Any help would be appreciated.

It has to do with your div positioning, I had to strip out your div tags to see if thats the case and I was correct. So what you need to do is check your div out and set up a CSS style sheet for your positioning to better control each div. So its on your side and not on qupis.

Also both versions of the url will be index in search engines, however search engines go for the more complete url http://www.bar-twist.co.uk then http://bar-twist.co.uk.

with the public_html folder upload would be convient for new users such as yourself to be mention, of course don't be afriad to ask on how to upload files to be shown on your website. I believe their have been a couple of topics on how to do this, might have to do some searching for it. Also I recommend checking this post out to set up FTP to your website as well:

Thanks for the reply - much appreciated.

I managed to upload my website files with no problem (once I figured out that they were supposed to go in the /public_html folder). I did not see any mention of this in any emails which were sent out with the account or the initial home page where you are told the account is setup and active - it only tells you the ftp address to use, user name and password etc (nothing about where to upload to).

I am also confused about your comments regarding my "div positioning" and a CSS style sheet?????

I am using SiteSpinner V2 - a WYSIWYG website prog (basic and simple). I have checked and the images etc all have the CSS attribute option turned on?

If I turn the CSS attribtes off - then the items on the web page are all over the place?

Any suggestions?

Is it possible for me to add the advert text in my software instead of it having to be put in automatically?

Well I am currently working on the coding for your site and I put this easy, delete that editor from your computer, it's producing a lot of junk code and from my edits so far your site is not lining up with I am showing. It should take me a couple of hours to fix everything maybe more depending how many tweaks I have to make to the code to at least match up to what your actual site is showing.

I upload the new files to this post once I am done.


EDIT: Just finish redesigning your site so the text ad will appear at the bottom. In redesigning the site I got rid of some images and also move to a CSS file, although it wasn't necessary since your site is pretty small, but showing you how CSS works in websites. Have any questions about what I did just send me a pm.

So download the zip file and extract it's contents and then upload and your set.

My sincere thanks to the folks on this forum for all their help - especially Saint_Michael for the time he toook to redo my web page.

Time i went and bought a new web site creator - think the one I have been using is rather old to say the least

no problem, but what got me though that your html editor produce CSS code but it was no where to be found, What I would recommen is use notepad to create your websites with hte help of tutorials, once you feel comfortable enough on the code then use a html editor.

With that experience of coding in notepad you will be able to tell the difference between junk code and actual code when you move on to an actual editor. I would take a look at eversoft 1st page html editor, it's a lot cleaner the last time I used it, which was centuries ago. But still effective, maybe this weekend I take a look at site spinner and see how it works.

If you wouldn't mind sending me your original files you got from this editor it would help get a better understanding why this junk code was produce.
