| | Just like the other Visual Quickstart Guides, this book goes over the basics for Photoshop CS3, and teaches you how to use Photoshop and give you a basic understanding on how Photoshop works as well. Very easy to understand as they give these mini tutorials in each section that they cover, such as filters, brushes, layers, layer effects and gradients to name a few. This is a good book to learn the beginnings on how to use Photoshop, but once you understand the basic concepts from this book you will be able to move on to other books that go into more detail in the sections that this book covers. It also includes a companion website as well to download the images that this book uses as well.

Essential Actionscript 3.0 Book Review
(0) Even though this book covered the basics of ActionScript 3.0, I felt that this book is above a
beginner’s level in programming for ActionScript. The reason I say that is that this book
guide you through building a prebuilt set of scripts. Which is all fine and dandy, but for someone
who has a hard time trying to learn programming languages to be able to code from scratch. I want
to be able to learn of which I attempted to do so before my computer crashed on me and lost
everything. In my opinion, unless you understand ActionScript and know how to use it then thi....
Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie
Book Review/ Summary (0) Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie, by David Lubar, is a story about a freshmen named Scott Hudson. He has
one goal for his freshman year: to survive. To cope with the expected (friends dumping him) and
unexpected (mom's pregnant!) changes of his first year of high school, Scott keeps a diary
in the guise of writing advice to "Smelly," his unborn brother. Full Cast Audio evokes the humorous
growing pains of Scott, his friends, and family. Ryan MacConnell does an especially good turn at
portraying Scott as a smart, wry young man wondering how to convert these unpopular t....
When Smoke Ran Like Water Review
(0) This is a personal story in which Devra Davis reflects about the killer smog in her home town of
Denora Pennsylvania during the last week of October of 1948. In just three days this smog would
change the lives of everyone who lived there, especially those who survived the aftermath. Which
included the 40 years of researching and talking to people to find out what happen on that tragic
day and why the cover up. However, what really made this story interesting is that Devra Davis
compared this tragedy with the Holocaust because she mentioned that the Holocaust was an ....
Rich Dad, Poor Dad - What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That The Poor Do Not.
Book review by yours truly! (2) It was 3 years ago. We were leaving Chapters (Bookstore in Canada, I don't know if it exists
elsewhere) and I noticed on one of the tables a book someone had left there titled "Rich Dad, Poor
Dad - What the Rich Tell Their Children About Money That the Poor Do Not". Not exactly being born in
the richest of families, I was intrigued by what secrets might lie within this book. Secrets I
would never learn unless I opened and read it's pages. I pointed the book out to my mom, she
looked the price then put it back on the table. We left. I was kind of disapointed ....
