and im wanting to set up a music player to play music that we have played in the past up to current times
the files wont be avaliable for download and all the files i have were gotten freely (i actually clicked the download button) on the publishers site.
is this in any way illegal to do? and what are the issues and who would i have to talk to to see if i cna do it legaly... |

In my humble opinion, as long as the material was freely available elsewhere on the web, and downloadable by anyone (with the publisher's permission), and not available for download from your site, or otherwise in violation of the copyright holder's rights, you would be okay. Having said that, good luck with the site. I am sure that BH or Opaque will be by to confirm or deny my opinion is acceptable to them.

If they are an unsigned band then it shouldn't be too much of a problem. hmm, publishers website, though. But you're admin of the band's official site. I'm sure if the band approved then it wouldn't be a problem for you to get it up there.; it's their music? *Edited* Darn, you weren't asking for something like a jukebox for the site  I had a suggestion there, but that'd be a little off topic, eh.

Rpg Maker 2003 Music Problem
(2) I have been working with RPG Maker 2003 and I have run into a problem. When I open the BMG tab I
try to listen to music. However, when I click play nothing happens. I have the Rtp file with the
standard midis in it. But they just wont play. The WAV files included do play. The only way they
seem to play is if I put all of the files into my windows media player. Once the first song has
played and as long as the player is running I can listen to songs via the RM2K3 program. However,
if I stop the player or mute the player I can't hear them on the program. I'....

Linux Question: Amarok And File Permissions
please help, i can't get it to work with all music files (4) hey, i use to use Linux DC++ to download music from some hubs and i usually download it to
/home/downloads/ and then i move the files to my collection on another HDD a sata one, on
sda3/music/ but when i move the files using krushader root mode they become posessed by root and
amarok can't play them displaying a locker on the file's icon. I tried to " chmod 774 music
", where music is my music directory, as root in konsole but no luck. What should i do to make a
whole directory accessible from amarok as user?....

theme song by Angela Aki, Kiss me Goodbye. They are all preety good and especially wat they say is
